Since 1987, Andy's Pool Service has been maintaining Atlanta's finest pools. The company was founded by Andy Bair who later sold the company to Dwayne Hamrick in 1997. Dwayne ran the company successfully for 18 years before he partnered with Richard Sosebee, Jr. in 2015. We are proud to say we are still servicing some of our original customers since the very beginning.
Dwayne Hamrick is a native Atlantan who grew up Dunwoody. He attended Georgia Tech and then began his entrepreneurial career in 1983 by starting a residential construction company, Peach State Homebuilders. Dwayne later owned and operated multiple retail businesses until 1997, when he purchased Andy's Pool Service.

A problem, not with the cleaning service, but the equipment service. Automatic switching between pool and spa took days to address and repair, as did a later problem with the pool and spa heater. Multiple trips, claims the problem was fixed, excuses about Thanksgiving from one of the owners, who had no idea that on Friday after his repair person left the same problem re-occured. If it had been properly fixed on the two trips last week, there would have been no need for a repair person today. Andy's pool service is a great company. When we started to use their service in October the owner came out to our house personally to introduce himself to us. Our pool is serviced 1 day a week and our pool guy is always very nice and personable. I highly recommend Andys Pool Service.

Very disappointed in this company. I hired them to maintain my pool last spring and they did a decent job. This week I called to tell them that I'm ready to close down my pool for the year and my account rep Lauren told me that was no problem and that someone would be at my house the following Monday or Tuesday to shut down my pool. This afternoon one of the companies managers called me and tried to twist my arm into keeping my pool open for the year and keeping them on to service it. Andy’s Pool Service is awesome. I was hired by a property owner to manage a property in metro Atlanta. The resident (non-owner) of that property posted a negative review about two weeks ago. I disagree with her assessment of the company. I hired Andy’s Pool Service to get her pool from green to crystal clear… which they did. We have used Andy's Pool Service for weekly service and repairs the last few years and they have been fantastic! Everything from the excellent customer service from the front office to the outstanding weekly service from our very personable tech Tori (who my 15 year old son loves to visit with when he is at our house) to the great repair techs who address any issues we have. Andy's is responsive and follows up timely on any issues we have. We have a complicated pool system and they took the time to know and understand our pool to be able to provide the best service. I've used Andy's for more than 10 years, and they were tremendously helpful in working the kinks out of my new pool. For most of that time, they were very responsive. Out in a couple days; same week at worst. But over the last year or so, their response times have become longer and longer. As long as three weeks. They won't give you a specific day when they are coming out -- "we'll try to get somebody out there next week" -- which doesn't happen. Average visit time is down to 20 minutes to half hour -- often addressing the symptoms, but not the cause. Have found

My son was swimming in the pool when he noticed things were in the water he had never seen. At that point there was a greenish tint to the water. I called Andys and explained the situation. Each week I get test results saying all chemicals are perfect. I questioned this and requested someone from the company other than the weekly service person come test the water which they agreed.
