Hettler Insurance Agency* was founded in 1992 when Ron Hettler purchased a portion of the Texas operations of the 100 year old insurance firm of Cornwall and Stevens. Called Hetler twice to get quote for quote on price for 2 auto's and home insurance. Said they would call back to give quote. If too busy for customer then I sure don't want them to handle my insurance needs.Reply: Been calling 2 Days ago. Placed call each day and never received status of why taking so long to receive call back. POOR BUSINESS STANDARDS.

Ron Hettler and his staff are the best. I have used Ron for personal and business insurance for 20+ years, with no regrets. Recently he helped me sign up for Medicare supplemental insurance. We spent a good hour going over the endless inane paperwork, even though I know his compensation for this is next to nothing. Good people, good insurance.

I use Hettler Insurance Agency for my car insurance. When I first started with them, they found an insurance company that saved my like, $80 from what I had found on my own, so I ended up paying $165/month for full coverage. A few months ago, that policy went up to $187/month and I just kinda rolled with it. But yesterday, I decided to give Hettler a call and just ask if there was anything they could do. The fella I spoke with said “sure, we’ll shop around for you and give you a call by the end of the day.”
Within the day, I got called back and they had found a plan with the same coverage

What a waste of time trying to get a quote for my business. spent two days filling out their applications, then they just stop communicating. No word, NOTHING. and no I am not a competitor, like you accused the other negative reviewer of being. You can save yourself a lot of time by calling any other place.
