Services
We require a $50-$100 non-refundable deposit for tattoos and for permanent cosmetics when scheduling. For tourists, make sure you inform the person booking your appointment that you have time constraints regarding showtimes/reservations, etc. so we can make sure we have enough time to plan accordingly.

I've waited awhile to post this review because tattooing is an emotional process and I didn't want to let that influence my assessment.
Truthfully, I'd been hoping for better. I knew this was a pricier choice when it came to getting a tattoo, and I thought that higher cost would mean higher quality. Certainly when going through Ruck's work online, I saw a lot of skill and impressive pieces. However I don't feel that I got his best effort on my skin, which is disappointing.

The tattoo artist didn't finish my piece and didn't set up an alternate time to complete it! Then posted on Instagram stating that it wasn't finished even though I reached out trying to see if we could finish. Still no reply back---it would be a five stars otherwise if I didn't come across this bizarre problem.
To clarify this post is how I found it wasn't finished I reached out and tried to come to an understanding so we could both be happy and it led no where which was upsetting to me. I just want a positive outcome overall

I have been wanting to get a tattoo for such a long time. My daughter was home for the summer break and we were shopping in Container Park. We wandered into Black Spade to check out some of the artists work portfolio. I was drawn towards Beanz (tattoo artist extraordinaire ) He has some beautiful artwork with vibrant water colors. And when I asked about availability he had an opening. It was FATE. So my first tattoo was becoming a reality. The consult was great and he listened to all my thoughts. I trusted his instincts and he created the perfect piece of art on my arm. It was important

I can't recommend this place enough and especially Ruck! I've had several different tattoo artists and he is by far the best! He did amazing artwork on me, he was so personable to talk to, he had a gentle touch (this tattoo was the least painful by far) and his shop is such a cool experience! Who wouldn't want to get tattooed in a recycled train?? If you're looking to get a tattoo in Las Vegas this is the place to do it!

My family came to Vegas for a quick trip, and all decided to get tattoos to commemorate the occasion. Ruck was able to get us all scheduled around the same time and was great! This is the best tattoo and experience I've had! King Ruck is clearly the best and he cares about you as a customer. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in Vegas next!

First timer and nervous as all get out! From the minute go setting up my appointment- timely and extremely professional. My appointment was booked and walking in I immediately felt at home. The owner, Ruck asked about the meaning/motivation for my tattoo and made me feel like he truly embraced my motivation and aligned his artistry to my vision immediately.

Well, what can I say? If i can only give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Initial processed of scheduling, Jen was great. No issues at all, I was able to get a schedule that same day. I'm a local, but I'm still trying to figure out vegas since I moved from Chicago two years ago, the set up that they have is pretty cool. The shop is basically located inside container park. My whole experienced was great. Beanz was cool. At first, I showed him the tattoo that i liked but he was honest with me as an artist, and told me what's going to happen eventually with the tattoo in the

I researched and contacted several shops and I am so happy I decided to go with Black Spade. First point of contact, Jennifer...She was responsive, courteous and helpful! Made the initial process effortless. Thank you Jen! Blaze was the artist, I liked the fact that he listened to my ideas, took his time and was patient with my changes. It being my first experience, Blaze made me feel comfortable. He was calm and friendly, had a graceful touch, not aggressive at all. I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep! It's hard to find consistent people here in Las Vegas so I had to look for a new tattoo artist that would tattoo a butterfly on my forearm in honor of my late niece. I've gotten two tattoos so far by Ruck. It's been a great experience both of the times. He does clean line work, has a feather light hand, and works fast so it's not so intense on the pain. ( I'm a cry baby) I would recommend Black Spade to anyone that is looking for quality work without getting overcharged just because it's Vegas.

Bummed that I have to update this review with a lower score, because I really enjoyed my first session. However, customer service/customer loyalty is definitely lacking.
I was supposed to be going in for session #2 today, but received an email late last night canceling my appointment. The person, Crystal, says that they could try to fit me in some time in late February or March. Yes, you read that right. They canceled my appointment less than 12 hours before the start and then suggest I re-book for another 3-4 months down the road. That is so entirely disrespectful and such bad business. Maybe

King Ruck was simply amazing to work with and his wife Jenn helped made the process smooth as well. I emailed them what I wanted and then Ruck exceeded my expectations. He brought Gus back to life through the portrait tattoo he did on my arm. Perfection does exist! His tattoo shop is really cool too because these old couples swung by and asked to buy it. LOL
