Services
At PMC Law Firm, our goal is to serve clients throughout the greater Summerville area by delivering comprehensive and efficient legal services for a variety of cases, including probate and alimony. Our seasoned lawyers understand that a crisis can occur at any time, which is why you need to take the necessary measures to ensure all of your interests are protected.
Consult price differs based on the type of case. The cost ranges from free to $80. Every consult provides you with up to one hour of attorney time at a reduced rate. There is no obligation to hire us, as a consult is just a great opportunity to get quality advice with little or no financial commitment.
Don't be afraid to have a list of questions you would like to ask, we want to answer them all. This should include questions about your case, questions about the attorney you are considering hiring, potential costs of your family court matter and expected timelines. Your attorney will ultimately need things like pay stubs, tax returns and a list of assets and debts for all parties involved.
Jim Messervy joined Provence Messervy, LLC after more than 25 years of serving Dorchester County as both an Assistant Solicitor and Magistrate Judge, both of which prepared him for an active family law and criminal defense practice.
A graduate of the Citadel and the University of South Carolina School of Law, Jim has also served the community as attorney for the Town of Ridgeville, President and Legal Counsel for Dorchester Paws (formerly Francis R. Willis SPCA), and former director the Dorchester County Heart Society.He is also an avid supporter and sponsor of Children in Crisis, the Summerville YMCA and the Citadel Brigadier Foundation.

Tiffany Provence formed Provence Messervy, LLC after more than 10 years as an elected official, serving Dorchester County as the Probate Judge and an additional two as Associate Judge. Provence is a graduate of the University of Florida and University of South Carolina School of Law. Provence also holds dual certifications as both a Civil and Family Court mediator and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of South Carolina.

David Causey will not return any phone call. He represented a personal representative of my grandmother's estate but refuses to talk with any of the beneficiaries. He was being paid by the estate money therefore I was assuming he represented us all. He gets confused of who is paying the bill. This attorney, David Causey, never communicated the transfer of deed to the beneficiaries and would never answer any questions we had concerning this case. The beneficiaries had to be the one to get the deed from the register of deeds office to make the transfer possible. Never even communicated what needed
