We are a third generation, family owned business serving the local communities for the past 83 years. Combined, our staff of licensed funeral directors has over 150 years of experience in the funeral industry. If there is any item of our professional services or facilities with which you are not reasonably satisfied, there will be no charge for that particular item.
How many licensed funeral directors are available at your funeral home to assist in the hour of need? Does your funeral home have experienced staff members who are there on a daily basis? Like any professional business will tell you, a good firm cannot run efficiently without a great secretary. Our secretaries do the work that no one sees - the filings, the paperwork, the phone calls, the data entry - that is vital to how we run our businesses. Mary Ann is our daytime receptionist at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home in Elizabeth.
Whether going to a home or hospital to bring a loved one back to our funeral home, parking cars or driving the hearse on the day of the funeral, our drivers are often the first people from Bekavac Funeral Homes whom a family meets. Any time at night, even at a morgue of a hospital where no one but a security guard will see them, our drivers are in a dark suit, clean cut, and in a clean vehicle.
Directing a funeral takes much more than a funeral director. There are members of our staff who work behind the scenes to make sure our funeral homes and funeral services run with unparalleled efficiency. From building maintenance, to hairdressing, to taking flowers to a gravesite ahead of a funeral procession, each member of our staff is very important to us and very important to our conducting a funeral.
