I received my training at Christian Theological Seminary, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling. My training focused on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approaches to working with individuals, couples, and groups.
My theoretical perspectives come from intersubjective psychoanalytic theory (emphasizes that we are inherently social and inter-dependent), attachment theory (the dynamics of long-term relationships), and object relations theory (that our personalities develop around early relationships).I received my Bachelor's degree from Indiana State University in theatre arts.

Services
I work from psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy perspectives. These perspectives believe that many of our actions, thoughts and feelings are motivated by pieces of ourselves outside of our awareness (the unconscious). We will work together to bring these pieces into your awareness. An important part of these theories is that who we are (our personalities) are patterned largely on significant childhood relationships.
