Services
In 1958, a group of concerned citizens and public service organizations set out to change the world. Their goal was simple-to furnish every person who wanted to work, regardless of their limitations, a fair opportunity to earn a living. Almost fifty years later, the results of that fateful decision can be seen and felt throughout the region.
WRC is proud to be a diverse and committed workforce. WRC provides opportunities for individuals to advance their careers within our organization. The opportunity to work within an organization possessing an outstanding reputation for quality and service. This service is provided to those who have never worked, as well as those who have held a job, have acquired a disability due to illness or accident, and have a goal to re-enter the work force in the community.
A systematic approach using work to assess an individual's work potential and work behavior is done by incorporating medical, psychological, social, educational, and economic information to assist an individual in vocational development and planning. I am so thankful we were sent to Wiregrass Rehabilitation. My only regret is not knowing about this place sooner. My son has joined the teen transition program. They're helping him navigate the road to Independence. They're also helping us out with getting him an electric wheelchair. Cost for services and equipment is based on income, and we have little to no copay.
