This place I changed quite a bit before the pandemic lot of good items has disappeared from the menu. The pizza oven they use inside that is wood-fired it seems the pizza is just different compared to the pizza oven outside the dough never use to be soggy or floppy. I wish they would give an option for customers or use the old custom wood fire oven outside for dinner!

Get the Fried Chicken sandwich! Usually I would get a sample bite but the sandwich was gobbled up quickly. Their roast 1/2 chicken came out pipping hot and hit the spot on a cold winter's evening. Margherita Pizza was spot on. The only dish that was meh was the special that night, which was a pasta bolognese dish. It was lukewarm, not distinctive and pricey for what it was. 1/2 point deduction for that. So really 3.5 stars. I wished I had the fried chicken sandwich, which was apparently delicious and a good value. BTW- their online menu is more limited now due to COVID. I came in hoping

Good service. Nice atmosphere. I had the tri tip dip sandwich with the side salad. The vinegarette dressing is excellent. My only suggestion is that the caramelized only are too sweet for a savory sandwich. Otherwise everything was great.

This is one of those places that has ok food but service just killed it. Let's get the positives out of the way. The tritip sandwich wasn't dry and the sweet potato fries were decent.

The bad. The main host (somebody with reddish hair) seemed to have a ton of attitude when we said we wanted to take out. I asked what kind of pies they had and she basically rolled her eyes. Same reaction when I asked what sides they had when she asked what I wanted with my sandwich. But the worst was our food was ready and it sat on the ready to go station for 5 minutes. I could tell it was mine since

Good food. Great service. Nice atmosphere and clean. I don't get the one star ratings. Mistakes will be made, slow service will sometimes happen. Lower your expectations or if you can do it better, stay home and cook it yourself.

I've been here before with my father-in-law who swore by the place and went today as a family. It took a little bit to sit down, but that's because they had so many people coming in a out! The menu is a little on the small size but, still a good selection if you aren't too picky. We went around 11 and that's when they served lunch. The rest of the family got pancakes and omelets, lots of expressions of satisfaction for sure.
My wife had the Corn Cake, which was amazing!
I had the Cali burger! It the bun was fluffy and the meat tender, the flavor and portions were amazing!
Definitely recommend

My Uncle & I had an early dinner on Friday 11/19/21. We went right around opening @ 4:40. It wasn’t but 1/2 later when the crowd started coming in. I had the Plancha Seared Pork Chop, which was fantastic! It’s about 3” thick & I”m guessing close to 10 ounces, that was cooked perfectly, well seasoned & topped with a delicious slab of a very favorable butter. I mentioned to Jan our server the best pork chop I’ve ever had was outside of Estes Colorado. However this pork chop has topped that! Highly recommended. I’ll be sure to return to order the Pork Chop meal again. My uncle had the

Took my family here and unfortunately all the other meals beside the sausage and gravy were subpar. The fruit salad had a bunch of delicious seasonal fruit but the homemade yogurt is very sour creamy/plain despite supposedly being blueberry flavored. The most disappointing meal was the French toast. They had run out of berries and instead had banana and chocolate. This tasted like a banana bread and also had the consistency of bread pudding. Not at all what I was expecting or hoping for. The coffee was very strong and bitter. In addition, they stopped doing discounts military and will not honor

I have eaten here a few times and it was good. First time ordering an omelet. The omelet was actually tasteless. The egg was fluffy, but bland. The apple bacon was in very small slices leaving little taste. The avocado was barely ripe.

Dont eat here!! My family and I are winters native and it almost seems wrong to give a bad review to locals but i tell it like I see it and taste it! To begin, I ordered a pasta and ended up with the braised short rib (most expensive thing on the menue) but didn't want to wait so ate it! The broccoli Rabe was soooo bitter it was un edible. The hamburger meat was off!!! No one ate the hamburger patties! Not even my hamburgler son! After explaining to the waitress that the food was off and not eaten she brought back the bill full charge. The manager wasn't any nicer saying that that was the first

I went there 3 weeks ago, when I pass by Winters. I always like those restaurants in cute Winters Town.

1) Putah Creek cafe decor is very cut, like French country side.
2) Employees or workers there are super polite and friendly and helpful,
and efficient.
3) Food is amazing, my daughter has some salmon something.
The mixing of ingredient and freshness is just so good.
Husband has corn Elote something. Everything is so tasty,
This restaurant's quality and cooking skills could compare to
upscale restaurants in Vegas and Los Angeles.
Will stop by again.

S-L-O-W-W-W-W Service

After wine sampling at Turkovich Family Wines in Winters hubby and I decided to have lunch at this cafe before heading home. This is on the corner of Main Street and Railroad Avenue, just a hop, skip and a jump away from the tasting room. The restaurant was busy and we had a some wait but the length of time to get seated wasn't as long as the wait to get our food!

We were seated in a booth by the entrance to their kitchen and we see our waitress go in and out of that kitchen always bypassing us and not even giving us an update on the status of our orders. I finally

I don't enjoy giving bad reviews. This is actually my first one. I know I got the food to go, and maybe if I ate in the restaurant I would have had a different experience. But as you can see from the pictures the sandwich was just plain and completely bland. Fries were soggy.

It was just meat and bread. No mayonnaise, no bbq sauce. I've had plenty of tri tip sandwiches in my life and they always had some sort of condiment. Also, the bread was dry and fell apart.

The only reason I'm giving it two stars is that the meat was ok. I ended up just eating it without the bun after

The good: The waitress was kind and they were open til' 9pm and we sat about 8:25pm and so we did get to eat.

The bad: The yelp ad for checking in was NOT honored. I'm a business owner and I would never let a customer bring up a valid yelp ad and not honor it. We asked and they said it was pre-covid.

The next bad: I'm about 230 pounds, so not a small guy. I asked if the cobb salad was small, waitress said it's really big and hearty. Considering it's my dinner I chose the salad only. When the salad arrived it was all toppings and barely any lettuce. The toppings are great

During our stay in downtown Winters, we ended up eating here for brunch and Valentine's dinner. We ordered both take-out and did outdoor dining on their cute patio. Downtown Winters has great small town vibes and dining on the patio really lets you soak in that atmosphere.

The brunch is your standard fare, but the dish we ordered was good. We ordered the Denver omelet, which I believe was a special of the day. The portion was really generous even though we split the dish between two people. The omelet did not skimp on the ham or filling.

We unexpectedly ended up getting our Valentine&apos

Cute small town cafe like you see in Hallmark movies.

Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Cost to worth it ratio: 3
Covid safety: medium
Return worthiness: yes

Highlights:
- Pizza: Italian style with a chewy crust with nice uneven browned spots. We chose the prosciutto one and it was almost as good as ones I've had in Italy! 5 stars
- Pumpkin pancakes: we came in October and they were a special and quite delicious. 4.5 stars
- Breakfast burrito: pretty standard eggy and bacon goodness with bonus avocado. Only thing was the bacon was plentiful in some areas and missing in others. 3.5 stars
