Clinton C. Baker founded what was to become the Olson Funeral Home in Truman, Minnesota in 1911. Service to the people of Southern Minnesota became a family tradition when Mr. Baker's son-in-law, Edward E. Olson joined the firm in 1919. Mr. Olson, a pharmacist at Foster Drug, received a degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota.
Staff members of Zaharia Family Funeral and Cremation Service are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
There are many advantages to Advance Funeral Planning. It is a sincere act of love. It relieves the burden of making arrangements at a most difficult time, enabling family and friends to better support each other's sorrow. It provides comfort to the family that final wishes are respected. It allows the funeral to focus on the living and dealing with their grief.
