Keystone Masonry, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Steve Borman, a Stonemason and Bricklayer since 1977. Mr. Borman's first project in the State of Washington was setting the stone for the Vietnam Veterans War Memorial on the Capitol Campus at Olympia, Washington. While Keystone Masonry began as a one-man operation in custom residential and light commercial masonry, Keystone steadily grew in capability and capacity.

In the early 1990's, Keystone expanded into the commercial market, building larger projects in the retail, industrial, Department of Defense and public works markets. By 1998, Keystone employed over 100 people and had developed a solid reputation for delivering large projects on time while maintaining quality craftsmanship and a positive relationship with contractors and owners.
