Services
As a founding father, Mike Sr. has over 35 years of industry experience. Along with Greg Tench, the two started Tendon Manufacturing together in July of 1988. As a graduate of John Carroll University and Case Western Reserve University, Mike Sr. started Tendon Manufacturing with two kids and a third on the way (Michael Jr.).
Tendon Manufacturing is a family owned, full service sheet metal fabrication and general machining plant based in Cleveland, Ohio. We fabricate and machine all metals and various plastics.
Tendon offers laser cutting services using one of our three turbo lasers, CNC cutting on one of our three punch presses, metal braking & forming using our press brakes that range from 50 tons to 200 tons of pressure, MIG, TIG and spot welding, extrusions, contract assembly & PEM insertion, sanding & deburring, powder coating, painting and silk screening.Tendon also offers engineering services for product design and prototyping.

Tendon Manufacturing uses two fiber-optic laser cutting machines for everyday production. These machines can cut up to 3/4" thick metal and have cutting tables that measure 60" x 120". The advantages of laser cutting are the accuracy, less deburring and no tooling costs. Tendon's lasers get maintenance weekly to ensure accuracy and to reduce machine downtime.
Tendon offers three shifts of experienced welders with the in-house capabilities of MIG, TIG and Spot Welding. We work with a variety of metals which includes: aluminum, steel and stainless steel. With four acorn tables, Tendon has all of the fixtures needed to quickly turn around your welding needs.
Tendon has 6 vertical CNC machining centers with two shifts of highly skilled and trained machinists. We have six 3-axis vertical CNC machining centers that have 24" x 24" x 36" machining tables. We machine a variety of different metals, plastics and extrusions. With 8 full time machinists on two different shifts, we can handle any size order.
