My sister came here to get her nails done and it took almost 2 hours and they looked HORRIBLE. She sent me 2 pictures that I'll post below... the nail shape is uneven, they aren't even filed correctly and the dip powder got all over the skin around her nails. She then asked if they could fix them and the nail technician said all she could do was "put a gel top coat over it" and disregarded all the other mistakes she made on the nails. It was near 10:30pm after all this happened and she came in at 8:00pm. After she told them so no longer wanted to have them fixed again because

ABSOLUTE WORST NAIL SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD. If I was able to give 0 stars I would because wow, I am so amazed at how terrible it was. The crazy part is I never write reviews for anything.
First of all, I asked for short, almond shaped nails and was given a blob so it took almost an extra 30 mins alone getting my nail tech to fix that. And my nails are all still different shapes. She cut me at least three times, with one a complete open wound after she has been digging in my cuticles. I was mislead by Google's 4-star rating of this salon. I wish I checked Yelp before entering this place.
Despite the fact that I was the only customer in there on a Saturday afternoon the lady rushed through it. After she was done I had to ask the her to go over specific areas of my nails with a file several times because they looked so terrible. She kept dropping the nail file as if this was her first time working with it. I had nail polish all over my cuticles and my nails chipped the next day. I think I could've done a better job with my eyes closed.
To top it all off, I was charged

Only giving 1 star because there is no 0 star option. I went to this location because of convenience to my new home, and as soon as they were done, I immediately left and went to another salon to get my nails redone and fixed. There was more polish on my cuticles and skin rather than my nails and the paint was so uneven and bubbled (I usually do gel polish). I will admin my pedicure turned out good though. However, even the manicurist knew something was wrong when she was done because she immediately offered for me to come back free of charge to get them fixed. NEVER again!

Stony Point Mall we think upscale ... Tiffany, Saks, Brooks Brothers ... and walking into this third world dump is like a visit to another planet.
Come on, Stony Point management, boot this out and get a top-notch spa. You might actually see people rather than tumbleweeds rolling through your beautiful mall.

Despite all these negative reviews I just read on this place, I must say, I really had a great experience at this shop -
A co-worker and I came in on a whim, and may I add late on a Saturday evening - about 30 mins prior to close - for a basic $25.00 pedicure - and we both had a wonderful experience. They took us and did not mind staying later -
My pedicure was given by the shop owner Ms. Cuc - and did she and excellent job - I was very happy.
The place was clean and tidy. Something I personally want to see when I go into any salon....
There were several shelves loaded with polish options

I do not recommend this place at all. If you find yourself saying, "Oh, but it's so convenient! How bad could it be?" (as I did) let me do you a favor--don't come!
No one greeted me at the door, I had to ask the manicurist to use a new cuticle trimmer after she dropped the first one on the floor, limited selection of quality polish colors, awful polish application and uneven length and shape of nails. Save yourself the money and do your nails at home.
Update: just smuged one of my toes standing up to leave and decided it wasn't worth the hassle to have them fix it--THAT

This place is almost comically bad. They sat me down to start my manicure and the woman kept getting up and leaving me. After waiting 20 minutes for her to return, I got up to look for her and she was doing someone else's pedicure. So half an hour later another woman came to finish my manicure and she did a horrible job. My nails chipped within hours, I had to take off the polish 2 days later because they looked so bad.

Worse place for a manicure. The lady I had didn't even remove all of the previous polish. She didn't apply the polish evenly. On some nails the polish went well past my cuticle and others it didn't even come close to the cuticle, so there was a big gap. I also saw her put away her tools with out washing them... Just a quick wipe on the towel after use. Then I sat there for 10 mins after my nails were dry waiting to pay and they weren't busy. H O R R I B L E

So, I was at the mall with my sister during my visit back in town and stopped in the salon to see if I could get two of my nails fixed. I had shellac polish on them. One the polish had peeled up on a corner and another nail had torn in the corner messing with luggage in the airport. The lady immediately wanted to cut my nail at the tear. I explained that I didn't want to cut it because it would be down to the skin all the way across my nail. So, since I didn't want to cut my nail and put a fake nail on and redo all my nails the lady did not want to help me at all......so I took my business

I was looking for a new place to get a haircut and I found this place through Yelp. I got my haircut here on the past Monday and I wish I never did. It's definately one of the WORST haircuts I've gotten.
I guess I'll start with the person who cut my hair. I came around 2-3pm and it was dead inside. I think it was the owner (??) that cut my hair. She was at the front desk. I showed her a couple pictures on my phone of what I kind of haircut I wanted. She nodded and said okay. It was a short on the sides and short on top. She gave me a completely different haircut from what I showed

This place isn't "upscale" or anything but I like it a lot so far and here's why - customer service. While the little pedicure chairs are worn, the massagers in them work, and the lady who did my pedicure yesterday (older woman) did a great job and was very friendly. You could tell she took pride in her job. She spent about an hour on my toes and she did a great job. I will return! And the price was AWESOME - $25 for a great pedicure.

I LOVE this place! First of all, it is located in my favorite mall in Richmond Stony Point Fashion Park. Second, the employees are extremely friendly and accomodating. I came here for the first time to get a pedicure and eyebrow waxing during my birthday weekend. My pedicure got messed up as soon as I left, so I returned the following day and they re-did my pedicure for free--with no hassles! AND, I am extremely picky about my eyebrow waxing and I am pleased to say that they did a great job on my eyebrows as well. Needless to say, I will be back!
