Please be aware: this place double-dips. Double-dipping when waxing is absolutely unacceptable. I understand that a lot of places might do it, but this is an absolute no-no for me. To deny that this happened would be a lie, and I truly hope that this business will consider more ethical and sanitary practices, especially when it comes to a pot of hot wax, bacteria, and god knows how many people (and what parts of their bodies) it's being used on (think brazilian/back strip and then waxing someones upper lip with the same wax). Maria Elena is awesome!! Such a nice person and even better esthetician!! I have done many facials with her and they're always great! She takes her time and does a great job, not like some of the other big spas. She gives you great advice for after care also and everything is priced very fair. I would recommend her to anyone for facials, wax and any other treatment she offers.

In response to the business owner, Maria Elena to my comments. I was not asleep. My eyes were closed because I was covered up because the air conditioner was blowing on me and it was cold. I should have read your past customer reviews first. If I had, I wouldn't have come. My review was done as soon as I possibly could. I was on a cruise, so I had no communication until I got off. I was really hoping this place would be great considering the other great reviews but it really wasn't. I had a Groupon for aromatherapy mani/pedi. When I arrived, the place looked alright from the outside around the lobby area and right when I walked in. The rooms are small but quaint. There's a table to lie down on with a few cushions, however the pillow had a strand someone's hair left on it.

I had the pleasure of getting a massage from Maria while vacationing for a birthday. She has a calming attitude and is very approachable. The massage was amazing. The room was very quiet and peaceful. I loved the energy of the session. Maria was so kind. She was so awesome. Not only did my girlfriend and I get a massage but also a Reiki session added. Maria Elena and her staff are great, and they're in a nice space. I only gave 4 stars because the appointment process leaves you feeling a little uneasy as to whether you really have an appointment or not and also, they don't let you know how long the services will take. My husband came with me and ended up waiting 3 hours.. I told him to just drop me off but oh well lol. Maria Elena gave me my first brazilian wax and made me feel very comfortable. Marie elena was fantastic! I was very nervous but she made me feel extremely comfortable to the point where I was able to laugh during my Brazilian and butt job..
