Services
South Manistique Lake is noted for good fishing and for its great variety of fish: Northern Pike, Walleye, Large and Small Mouth Bass, Muskie, Tiger Muskie, and an abundance of Panfish-Perch, Bluegills, Rock Bass and Sunfish. Trout have recently been stocked. Whitefish are also caught in June. Walleyes strike best in May, June, and September.

We stayed in cottage 4. The place is very clean, neat, cozy, and cute. the back porch has rocking chairs that seats 3 people. Right in the backyard is fire pit, picnic area , dock over water, etc the view is just beautiful and it's really peaceful . The pictures posted on website does not do this cottage justice. I was happy that the place looked much better and comfy in person. I will definitely stay here again. It's great for just relaxing vacation spot... It's great for the price.

View was amazing and it was a great getaway. I'd give 6 stars but wifi definitely need to be addressed. I'd recommend bringing a few extension cords and fans for the windows. Not very many outlets at all. Fans to help circulate the nice outside air. GeGe was very nice and fast to get back with us for any issues.

We stayed in cabin #6 for a week. The cabin was great, although, if you book it through Air Bnb, it's pricey for this area. Pros of this resort-Well kept, Mary (one of the owners) was very nice, cabin was clean, kitchen well stocked, beds and bedding comfy, lots of TV channels, great lake access, good fishing, access to kayaks-canoe etc., plenty of parking. Cons-LONG gravel road to get back to resort, pricey if you book through Air Bnb, close to neighbors. Overall, we had a great week. It was an amazing experience. Stayed for memorial day long weekend. They have free kayak and bbq pits. The resort it well kept. The internet is little weak and i think thats good coz this resort is connecting back to nature and appreciating beauty. The management is very responsive and i recommend this place.
