Services
It is very difficult and rare to find an entire team that is made up of knowledgeable and caring individuals. Our patients constantly say the same thing. Cyndi graduated from the College of Charleston and has worked in the dental field since 1998. She has been Front Office/Business Manager for Dr. Banik since 1999.
Dr. Ron Banik and his team always look forward to meeting new patients! In addition to gathering your medical history, we will perform our comprehensive new patient exam. Biomechanical Exam: looking for tooth decay, broken teeth, defective fillings, evaluating risk for future problems, etc. Periodontal Exam: Measuring gum health, evaluating risks for gingivitis and periodontal (gum AND bone) disease.
Dr. Banik grew up right here in Charleston. After graduating from the College of Charleston, he received his doctorate in dental medicine from the Medical University of SC, and went on to complete an advanced dental residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. After spending a year in Savannah practicing and teaching, he returned to Charleston in 1999 to continue practicing dentistry in his hometown.

Very professional and sterile, all x-ray imaging equipment was covered with one time use plastic and staff wore masks at all times, in addition my visit was speedy and all staff were very courteous. I clocked out for a few minutes waiting for Dr. Banik's final inspection after my cleaning, overall experience was safe and comfortable.

My husband had his second visit yesterday to have a few cavities fixed. Everything went perfectly. Carolina Family Dentistry staff was very welcoming and the whole visit took less than a hour. Dr. Banik is very thorough and the procedures was completely painless. My husband said he looks forward to going back for his next six month cleaning. Thank you, Carolina Family Dentistry!!

As someone who has never really been a fan of the dentist, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Dr. Ron Banik and his team! I have always felt very comfortable in this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. They remember the little things about you. I especially love the compliments I get on my teeth here. I highly recommend this dentistry!
