This was the sweetest little cottage. We went for a girls get away for a long weekend. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view out the large picture window, the sound of the river and the relaxing hot tub! Highly recommended especially if you live in Seattle since it's so close but feels far into nature.

This is such a relaxing getaway in Index, and everything exceeded my expectations. The view from the front porch was absolutely gorgeous. It rained for most of our weekend away, but that was just fine for our group of 6. We made good use of the awesome hot tub, played lots of games, watched the rain fall on the river and the clouds swirl around the mountains. The house is stocked with everything from Cranium to Settlers of Catan to Monopoly. Both people who slept on the foldout sofa said it was amazing and the most comfortable sofa they've ever slept on.
The owners were easy to communicate with

What a cozy retreat from the noise of regular life! The photos are spot on--this place is CLEAN and spacious. You can hear the river right across the way and aside from the train, it's very quiet. The front porch is a perfect spot to relax and drink coffee in the morning. Lots of amenities and friendly, gracious owners with fun tips for adventures. Bring a flashlight to find the place in the dark, however, as there are no street lights and since you're so far away from the big city it's DARK out there.
Would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone.
