Check in was very easy.
The room is clean, and spacious for the price per night.
The water is hot and works great!
My only wish is that it had a mini fridge but that is no big dea and the road noise can be a little loud.
Well lit parking lot at night.
Both ladies I interacted with at front desk were friendly.
I would stay here again.

It's not the four seasons or motel 6 for that matter and definitely needs a good polishing, but it's downtown location enabled us to walk to coffee shops, kolache bakery, restaurants and the saturday nite outdoor music and movie. frozen 2 would not have been our choice but for the horde of young families and happy children it was a delight. kudos to the town for staging this event. oak hotel people very friendly and helpful.

Tub had mildew and dirty water rings around it
No toilet paper
They shampoo, body wash container applied to the shower walls are empty
I wish I could share photos. I did get a refund and I'm waiting for it to post to my account.

Bed was good and clerk was nice.

Having stayed here before, very disappointed. Called them directly for reservations, was told a price 30% higher than past, "due to antique show, it's a busy time". Got better price on Hotels.com
Place was not full. Bathroom was filthy. Floor dirty. Lots of trash and junk on the outside. Lost my yearly bisiness.

First off, I've stayed at this motel several times with family in the past years before it was remodeled in 2017. The office ppl were friendly as well as courteous. Upon my arrival I was disappointed to see the outside of structure in a run down fashion. No refurbish of any kind. Garbage was sitting on front porch making it look cluttery. Paid and checked into my room and was so disappointed. There was no rugs on the floor or a phone as shown in the website pictures. The pictures on website show the double beds were sitting on bed frames not the barrel platforms. Oh my gosh someone had previously

If you ever find yourself evacuating from a hurricane, and find yourself in La Grange, TX, thank your lucky stars because the best place in Texas to seek refuge is nearby!! Pulling into the place I knew immediately that Sam and Dean would have approved this choice. The staff was very friendly and polite, the price was exactly what I would have offered if given the option, and it was super quiet the night I stayed. There’s a cute coffee shop two blocks away, so my morning after came fueled with a great cup of Joe! I would definitely recommend this place, and if I’m ever back in La Grange, I’ll

I was travelling to a conference in Austin, and had decided to head in a couple days early so that I could experience some local events I knew about in the area before getting into the city. The biggest event I wanted to attend did not have a reasonable hotel close by, but the Oak Motel was available at a reasonable price a couple dozen miles away, which was fine by me.
The fact that it is located in a town of such musical fame was a plus, though I did not see any references to the song that were obvious.
From the outside, the motel looks pretty run down, and the fact that the soda machines

Stayed here for Spring Antiques Week. Older refurbished motel. Safe. Very reasonable price and easy to find! Choices are limited for the show - I'd def stay here again! In the past I have stayed in Carmine and actually find La Grange a better "home" location.
When traveling with a group the cancellation policy is easier to manage with a hotel/motel rather than a B&B.
Downside is it's a motel without a gathering area outside of your room.

I was in town for the Uncorked wine stroll. I found the Oak Motel on Bookings and saw that it had been recently updated/renovated, so we gave it a shot. I believe they are still working on the improvements, so it is a work in progress. The location is great, very close to the square. We could've walked. Cute, historic motel. When I arrived, there was no-one in the office, I stood there for a few minutes and opened the door again so the door bell would ding again. A man came out of the adjoining quarters and greeted me, it looked like it was dinner time. Check in was easy, I was given a key
