Kelly has been a legal assistant for over 30 years. She started shortly after she earned her associate degree in para-legal studies from Wichita State University. Working side by side with Sheila, she experienced divorce from every level - from the dissolution of a short term marriage with minimal assets to a long term marriage with the division of a family owned multi-million dollar business and every type of case in between.
Megan began her career as a criminal defense attorney with a nationally recognized criminal law firm. She honed her skills as an avid writer and researcher in this position as well as developed her presence in the courtroom. Sheila started her career in much the same way.
They both indicate that criminal law taught them the importance of "leaving no stone unturned" when it came to client representation because so much was at stake in the client's life. What makes a good attorney a great attorney is the on-going quest for knowledge. Megan continued her quest for knowledge and a deeper understanding of counseling clients through adversity by earning her Master's Degree in Social Work from Wichita State University.

When Kristina Retzlaff went to law school, she chose a career that would allow her to help people in their day-to-day lives. Kristina says, What I enjoy most as I work with my clients is seeing the point when they realize that they are going to be okay. Early in the process of a divorce, or any lawsuit, really, people have a lot of doubt about the legal system, their future, their finances, and the children.
I want to thank you both (Sheila and Kelly) for the competent and conscientious work you have done on my behalf. I feel I was very well represented and have enthusiastically referred Sheila to numerous divorcing litigants over the last few months, and will continue to do so. I truly appreciate all you have done for me.

Do not! I repeat, do not use this law firm. This lady is horrible. Charged me 5k and literally never stepped foot in the courtroom. The worst lawyer I've ever had. She practically tried to screw me worse than my ex! Save your money and time. They definitely don't have their clients best interest at heart.

I recently hired Kristina with Floodman Family Law to assist with some child support modification issues. I found Kristina and her support staff to be very professional and easy to work with. She was responsive and approachable. She resolved my legal concerns while also being mindful of my budget and handled interactions with my ex-husband in a professional manner. It takes a lot of skills, talent and knowledge to do all of these things successfully and I am pleased that I chose Kristina to handle our legal needs.

I really appreciated Megan being upfront with me during my divorce and custody proceedings. She was always truthful about my case, my rights and even when I did not want to hear things, she was able to be open and honest without judgment. Megan was quick to reply when needed and knew the system well to know when to back off and wait.

I retained Kristina at Floodman Law in January, 2016 for the duration of my divorce. She is very fair, logical, and knowledgeable about family law proceedings. With her expertise in my corner, I felt supported and protected throughout the proceedings. The legal staff at Floodman Law that worked on my case (Rhonda, Kelly) were highly competent and friendly. Kristina made sure that I was comfortable with the moves that we made, and deferred to my input at every turn. She helped me seek and prepare for mediation on our child custody issue. We ended up getting a fair settlement in the end. Floodman
