He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Director of the Triangle Dental Institute, which provides training to dentists all over the country on how to place and restore dental implants. We provide general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry in the heart of the Research Triangle Park. With the help of his excellent team, Dr. Hunt delivers cutting-edge care in a warm and friendly atmosphere. All of Dr. Hunt's patients are treated like family. Our office is also home to the Triangle Dental Institute, which was founded by Dr. Hunt in 2005.

The Triangle Dental Institute provides training for dentists all over the country on how to place and restore dental implants. We deliver the gold standard in implant training: a comprehensive course of study combined with live clinical experiences. Since 2007, our program has been providing what our students describe as a career-changing professional experience.

I had a wonderful experience!!!! Dr. Hunt has been my dentist since I was a child (since 1978). He’s professional courteous, very knowledgeable, and most of all down to earth. A+++++++ One of the best in the business hands down. He and his staff treat you like family.
I called him at the last minute without an appointment. He and his staff were able to see me the very next morning and fit me in between his scheduled patients. This really speaks to how good of person Dr. Hunt truly is. #PAINFREE#

This is a excellent place to go for dental care. The staff are very professional & amazing from the moment you step foot into the office. Very pleasant atmosphere with professionalism being displayed throughout your visit. Even when calling into the office, the customer service is excellent, never feeling rushed off the telephone. The only problem I have; is not knowing of Wm. Mark Hunt, DDS. Years ago!

I was apprehensive about the first part of a dental implant. Dr Hunt explained everything, how long each step would take, what I would feel and hear. He told me about his training, and his training of other dentists. He took two scans during the procedure to be absolutely sure that everything was perfect. He told me how to manage the pain the next few days, Dr Hunt has been my dentist for 40+ years, and I have every confidence in him.

Dr. Hunt has been my family dentist for 30 + years. They have always cared for my teeth and now care for my children and husband's dental as well. The team there feels like family. When we show up separately, they always ask when the rest of my tribe is coming in. The mood is always light and positive. office is always squeaky clean and they have taken good care putting in COVID safety precautions. Professional and pleasant always!

Just adore my hygienist Shelby and Dr. Hunt who has been my only dentist since childhood. They always ask about the family and ask about upcoming appts for the kids and the hubs. They take good care of our teeth. They’re friendly and familiar. I never have billing issues. That team has been together for a long long time and they work so well together. Feels like they are a family and they work together to take good care of mine.

Dr. Hunt helped secure a loose crown over an implant for me twice within about 10 days (as it loosen again). At the time I felt some pressure and was told that I would get used to it. About a year later during a regular dentist visit (not Dr. Hunt), the implant was found broken and had come out. The reason was the crown was fastened improperly. Implant doctor suggested that I should talk to Dr. Hunt. I called and briefly stated what happened and asked what they normally do for such situation. Dr. Hunt called next day. Been a long time patient. I live in another town now, but gladly make the drive back to Durham. Over the years, I've needed everything from emergencies and major work to routine cleaning.. From day one the staff & Dr. Hunt have always made me feel at ease. More like family and not just a customer... Fantastic experience. I have had prior bad experiences at other dental offices in the area and I came into my first appointment a bit nervous. Fortunately for me, Dr. Alex Hunt and his team exceeded my expectations! The dental hygienist was outstanding and very gentle, the office was clean and well organized, and Dr. Hunt spent plenty of time explaining things to me. He fit me in for a last minute procedure and did a wonderful job on my tooth when prior dentists had told me it wouldn't be possible. In addition, I got the sense that this isn't the type of dental office that pushes unnecessary

I had my first appointment here yesterday. I normally have terrible anxiety when anyone just mentions a dentist. That all changed for me after yesterday. Dr. Hunt and his staff was absolutley AMAZING! I had to have alot of work done and they made me feel as comfortable as possible and were just so caring and sweet. I recommend anyone looking for a good dentist to try them out, I do believe you will be impressed!

Background: I have been in North Carolina for the past 4 years and making a trip home to Florida annually to get checked out by all my healthcare providers.
