We are different from the vast majority of the trucking companies. We pride ourselves on having the best equipment on the road. We have our own, very experienced, maintenance department. At Schulz, drivers are a name, not a number. We're small enough to know our drivers by name, yet large enough to offer a competitive benefits package.
He started as an over the road driver for several years before transitioning to a local driver for us. Scott is around our shop in Lincoln every day and is one of the most well-known drivers we have among our fleet. Scott represents our company exceptionally well. He has gone 20 years without an accident or ticket!

Proof of this is our Vehicle CSA score, which currently sits at 2%. So, 1% of the trucking companies in the USA have fewer out of service violations because of equipment than we do.

My driver was over weight on this load so the broker compensated 100$ after putting up a fight, making the rate 1900$ total.
My driver was in detention for 2 hours. The broker advised me that detention would be paid upon approval and with time stamps. After providing them with time stamps from the receiver, I was told my the detention was accepted and added onto a new rate con. Upon reviewing the new rate con, which was the same amount of 1900$, I advised the broker (Christy Tripp)that the detention was not added. She told me the 100$ was added for detention in which again I told her the extra

Interstate I80 east of Sidney, Nebraska, truck #331. Roads are snowy and icy. Driver was in the right lane but pulled into the left lane as I was passing. I had to lock up my breaks and hit the shoulder. Please inform your drivers that they do NOT own the road. He’s lucky I didn’t call the state patrol. I do have a phone of the tractor and driver.

Most Rude, Unprofessional Driver I have ever come across. Intentionally blocking driveway. When asked to move, putting unnecessary hands on me. A needless fight almost ensued. Sad to see a great company resort to hiring drivers of this caliber. Truck was filthy, inside and out. The driver did not know how to groom himself. Just a meat in the seat kind of driver. What an Embarrassment to Schultz and the rest of the industry.

Driver in truck number 323 parked in the middle of the road completely blocking the driveway to the customer which I was trying to deliver and refused to move when he was asked multiple times and began insulting everyone who asked him to move his truck. He seemed to have some sort of mental disability and should not be operating a commercial vehicle. People like him are the type that give truck drivers a bad name. He was extremely unprofessional and had no common courtesy for other drivers, I would be ashamed to have him in a truck with my name on the side of it.

My Review is based on the behavior of a driver on 11/26/18. The Driver aggressively blocked us from merging into his lane when entering into a highway work zone. After exiting the work zone and when we where along side the driver in the left lane the driver was aggressively using his air horn while looking out the window as shown in the pictures below. My husband drove OTR for many years and was very disappointed in the drivers choice of behavior as it adds to the general public's bad perception of truck drivers.
