John Butler crossed paths with Gary Rabine through common construction projects and decided to collaborate on a new business. Thus, Pavement Solutions was started as a regional seal coating and line-striping service providing maintenance for parking lots in the McHenry County area. I contracted them to remove and replace my driveway. The first problem occured when they called me at work and asked if I wanted the broken sidewalk replaced as well. I asked which side walk the public one or the one leading from driveway to front step. When they said to the front step I knew I was dealing with a dishonest company the person who called me said yeah its cracked which it was'nt prior to leaving in the morning. The guy on the phone says we can fix it for free. I didn't think a black top side walk was going to look good but I was at work and it was broken now sso fix it I figured.

Well, I'm not sure what to start with about this company.
I work for an engineering firm that does asphalt testing for the state of Wisconsin and for the Tollway in Illinois. So I think this company ran into someone a little smarter in the business.
Joe, the supervisor has very poor communication with clients. I was screamed at for no reason. When the removal crew excavated my driveway, they removed to much material from driveway. When they needed to bring in a little extra material, it was my fault as if I did the removal of such material. They didn't use any lasers to shoot grade to know how

Our driveway is long and curvy; it came out beautifully and the edges are tamped perfectly. Exceptional quality at a great price.
