East End Mental Health
Integrative mental health care is a rapidly emerging paradigm that combines prescription medications, psychotherapy and a range of evidence- based complementary and alternative therapies in the treatment of various mental health concerns. It includes lifestyle changes to help you live a longer, healthier and happier life.

While it is necessary to target the symptoms that lead someone to treatment, we feel people are much more than the symptoms. The most effective way to help a person begin to heal is by focusing on their strengths and assisting them to harness their available resources, while getting their symptoms under control.
Services
We understand that life's storms can sometimes be overwhelming and we end up in places we do not want to be. A common approach to mental health treatment is to identify the symptoms and then use medications. For example, if you are depressed, you get a prescription for an antidepressant medication.

I went to East End Mental Health on a recommendation, and I have to say they are the most friendly office I have ever been to. I was so nervous because I was suffering from depression for so long that I had given up. Catherine got me on vitamins, an exercise program, and a low dose antidepressant. I started therapy in the same office and got acupuncture! I look forward to my visits. So glad I went! thank you!!

I don't know what about the negative comments here, sounds pretty bogus to me. I had a great experience! Its the first time in a long time someone caring took the time to listen to me and treat me like a human not a mental illness. I have gone through a lot of doctors and they all treated me poorly just because I am afraid to try new things and sick and tired of being "sick and tired". Ms. Poulos really is very caring and explained everything to me. She is all about wellness and not pumping lots of medications without balancing your body's health. You know all these meds have side effects and issues

I was a patient in 2016- i recently asked for my records and i went to pick up my paperwork and pay for it. When i got home i read through everything and noticed she did not spell the name of my country and my husbands country right. I called them and asked them to fix it and they said they can't fix it. Because of this now this will possibly cause denial for my husbands paperwork. They don't care about no one else just want to make money.

For a Place who makes a big deal on their website about caring about people and the community and compassion to the community they serve they are only out to help themselves as they do not accept poor patients

I never write reviews, but this woman (Cathereine Poulos) is a mockery. I went to her for severe suicidal depression (i could not leave my house or go to school, suicidal thoughts every second) ; she first told me that i should do yoga. Then she gave me an antidepressant for only a few weeks, and when the med didn't work, she said I had lyme's disease, and then she said I had a frontal lobe disorder and put me on just lamictal!? I went to the neurologist, and he was baffled by her. Then she said she didn't know what to do, and I left to see a psychiatrist who finally diagnosed me with depression

Great practice located in Hampton Bays. Catherine the psych NP is very thorough with her patients and looks at "the whole picture" in regards to their physical and emotional mental health. In addition-there is a team of therapists and an acupuncturist. It's a great place for everything in one shot. I would rec. this practice to anyone I care about.

A family member was here during a conflicting time unfortunately Catherine Ppoulas did more harm then good she wanted a first session observed by a stranger that made my wife very uncomfortable. She was very unprofessional and during session cut off prescribed medication In less then a month thousands of dollars was drained from our medical account We would not recommend this establishment for as much as dog training They need to be investigated.
