The aspect of utility verification is crucial to engineers when applying new infrastructure: with right-of-ways being limited. Data of existing utility owner's facilities. Can only be interpreted to such a degree when reviewing through as-builts, prints, and even utility marks at location of projects.
Accurate Excavation has been utilizing a method of pipe and conduit installation known as HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) in the desert southwest of Arizona since 2004. The HDD system used by Accurate Excavation is a Vermeer 24x40A. This system has the capabilities of installing pipe or conduits ranging in sizes from 1 inch to 12 inches in diameter and lengths to 500 feet or more in some cases.
