Services
If you are working on a pre-1973 Triumph, you need to convert the part numbers from Alpha-Numeric to an all Numeric part number. BSA part numbers will always be a 6 digit number and will be formated as 2 digits, a dash (-) and the last 4 digits. It is very important to know that when a part number is less than 6 digits, there needs to be zero's added to the part number to make the part number 6 digits.

This place is awesome in so many ways.
They had more new Triumphs then I’ve seen at any other dealers, definitely many more than the Des Moines dealer and the sales staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I think it was the first time a sales person told me something I didn’t already know that was useful.
The classic bike side of the dealership is exceptional, I’ve seen nothing like it in this country. If you have a classic British bike you probably already know that.
Definitely worth a visit.

This is the WORST dealership I have EVER interacted with. They were rude, dismissive , and downright hostile. I was accused of
“Blowing up” their bathroom the week before. All i did was to try on a couple
Of pairs of motorcycle pants. They did not work for me. In addition, staff was unwilling to budge on price at all. Mind you, my Daughter and I were the only two people in the whole place! Beyond that, if I did have to “use the facilities “, which I cant exactly recall, it would have been an emergency and a necessity. I have a medical condition right now that is causing quite a bit of

Wow. This is what a dealership should be. I didn’t know what to expect from a small town dealer, and I was really blown away. The showroom is incredibly impressive. Great selection and professional presentation. The classic bikes are super cool too. The best part of the experience was the friendly, knowledgeable and non pushy salesman that helped me. My next bike will be purchased from Baxter Cycle. If you haven’t been, go check them out.

Have to share my experience purchasing this BMW NineT Racer from Baxter Cycle. Spoke with Jeremy and from the very beginning til end he was very professional and helpful. Bought this site unseen and delivered in just over a week from purchase date. The bike is exactly as described and look forward to enjoying this bike! Thank you all at Baxter Cycle!!!

2021 Update: Thank goodness for Baxter Cycle, their helpful staff and their extensive parts inventory! I needed some carb parts and other parts for my '02 Triumph Thunderbird (w/70k miles). Called'em up, all parts were in stock, and the next day the parts were on their way from Iowa to Oregon. They've been a big help over the years to keep me on the road.

Awesome, awesome place. If you are a motorcyclist and haven't been here yet, just make plans to take a day and ride there. Go into the back room "Vintage Motorcycles" and take a cup to catch your drool. Yes, you can take home a 1957 Matchless or a 1974 Norton if you want; they're all 100% functional and for sale. Need parts for your vintage British bike? Baxter likely has them. They treat their customers right!

I bought a 2014 triumph trophy from these guys through eBay. they shipped the bike to me with bad brakes and a leaking differential. Jeremy(owner) sent me all the brake parts(2 front rotors, pads, bolts. one rear rotor, bolts but no rear pads) except rear shoes. He wont return my emails now. My differential leak was never fixed. Now I'm stuck with a bike that I have to do the work on myself to make the brakes right and keep adding fluid to the rear. I also have to buy the pads to complete the job. I am looking at a differential replacement of $2500. Buyer beware, have the bike inspected immediately

What a great place to see vintage and new British motorcycles. This place has it all. From the bins of parts it looks like you could find parts for any British bike made. They have a great selection of new bikes and a staff with the knowledge of them to answer any questions you have. This is a one stop shop for all your vintage needs.

I've been going to the Baxter Cycle Open House events for a few years. I've always been very impressed with the friendly and personable staff there. I think they hire probably the best folks in the area. They routinely have events with demo rides, so you can try all sorts of bikes.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw a bike listed on their used bike page and just had to go in to check it out in person and take a test ride. I loved the bike at first sight and quickly decided to trade in my 2017 Bonneville T120 for this wonderful 2013 Triumph Thunderbird ABS.

I bought a bike from Jeremy this fall. This is one of the best customer experiences I have had. No pressure. Did what they could to make the deal work for me. Service department has the same attitude. The vintage bike room is worth the drive. Triumphs and Nortons that were on the covers of motorcycle magazines I bought as a kid.

Very cool dealer and shop. I have not bought anything from them....yet....but I attend the yearly open house every chance I can. This is the kind of small town, old school motorcycle shop that we all wish we could've grown up working at, and eventually take over. New bikes in the front showroom, old bikes in the back. If you need a part for your Triumph, BSA, Norton or Royal Enfield, give them a call or stop in. The yearly customer appreciation open house and classic bike show that they have every August is worth a ride to see. The Triumph truck full of demo bikes is always there, and people
