Welcome and thank you for taking an important step toward personal growth. I completed medical school and residency training through the University of Nevada Reno. I see 2 different dr's at this facility for different types of treatment. They are professional, friendly, and they really care about my health and well-being.
The office staff (when I was able to go into the office before COVID) has always also been professional and very easy to work with. Scheduling is very easy, and they make the entire process as easy as possible to get in. I've been seeing one dr, then another since 2014 and they've helped immensely with anything I am going through.
I highly recommend.

Honestly Kim Charles is one of the worst people out there. She’s educated so she acts like she’s your best friend then prescribes medication that will inhibit your thinking and your way of life. Go the natural way and get with an herbalist she is not good for the soul. Plus she’s never available. and then when she finally is available she calls randomly and acts like your crazy because your supposedly “mentally unstable. She charges twice now that she’s moved offices. No good trust me don’t waist your time or money on this one. She will also go behind your back

I recently changed jobs and was looking for a mental health professional covered under my new insurance. I found Kimberlee Charles, MD of Reno Psychiatric Associates on my insurance provider's website. Reading the specialties, I felt this may be a good match. My insurance provider's website indicated that she was accepting new patients, so I gave her office a call to schedule my initial appointment.
The person who answered my can was short, but I figured it was a busy office and she needed to get things moving. (Roll with it...) ***She asked me about my insurance, and I told her who

The worst place I have ever gone for Mental Health. Something happened with my Dr. leaving and i was told i would get a call for a new Dr. there to take over. After 3 weeks of no contact I called them to be told my case is too "complicated" and none of the Doctors can help. I take a single medication so was basically told we dont want to help you anymore and we made you wait weeks while you could have been setting up appointments elsewhere. They do not care about patients as human beings one bit

The receptionist is a wildly inappropriate choice for any public-facing position, but especially a mental health clinic. Calling for an appointment requires anxiety medications because even if she refrains from saying something terribly rude, her tone of voice is just dripping with hatred and resentment. Also, don't ever subject yourself to Dr. Bittker unless you're into geriatric white men who use inflammatory language and should have retired a decade ago.

I was recommended to Dr. Stoll by my primary physician. All the appointments I have with her have been Zoom since this our life/world these days!
I will be thrilled to say bye bye to 2020! All of us will.
For me the ending of this year will be a happy thing indeed! The best part of this year has been the wonderful amount of time I got to spend
with my beloved daughter... She arrived on our doorstep the beginning of March when Apple closed their infinite loop office in Cupertino. Her
boyfriend is in Sacramento so this worked out very well for her too.

My first appointment with Dr. Stoll lasted just over 30 minutes. When I was scheduling a followup appointment with the front desk, I asked if I could not be charged the full hour since the appointment lasted a hair over 30 minutes. I was put on hold while the receptionist asked the Dr., and when she came back on the line she said, "The Dr said she will not charge you for the appointment and you can go find another Dr." That blew me away! If the Dr. really believes that she spent a whole hour getting to know me and diagnose me, then yes-I should be charged a full hour. Very unfortunate that they

TRIGGER WARNING- contains hard language on behalf of the Reno Psychiatric Associates-
The employees at Reno Psychiatric Associates are cold, crude, and extremely unprofessional. I was not allowed to have my medication refilled until I made an appointment with the doctor (they require you to make appointments every time your medication needs to be refilled just so they can get your copay cost from you) during these "follow-ups", the psych asks how it's going and really only refers you to therapy. This is a joke. I called to ask to please have a refill and I was not able to wait to

Dr. Tom Bittker at Reno Psychiatric Associates is superb. Brilliant, insightful advice given. Wealth of experience (decades!) behind him. I have so many friends and family that swear by, or have sworn by, his sage advice and benefited hugely from his wide range of treatments & counseling. I enjoy my visits with him immensely and always come out of a session better than when I went in. Even during COVID, the virtual visits with FaceTime and Zoom work fine. He is caring, conscientious and extremely thorough.

I mean in all honesty, when you have to set up an appointment and you have to deal with someone for a psychiatric need, don't you expect them to have some level of empathy or at least professionalism. I was unable to make my first appointment, and then I was told, after I had to do an extensive amount of pre-work just a set up the first appointment, that they would not see me. So I've invested a significant amount of my time and personal information into these folks, and since I wasn't able to meet the first appointment because my car broke down now all of my information is being shared inside

I used a doctor here years ago and was generally pleased - didn't have much interaction with the front office staff. After a while away I determined I needed the assistance of a mental health specialist - good luck with trying to get through the abuse Of the receptionists. Submitted paperwork and contacted 3-weeks later to schedule an appointment 6-weeks later. Rude, short tempered and incompetent receptionist - can't speak for the doctors, spent all my time trying to get through the secretaries.

Don't bother with this practice. They will try to put you on so many pills, you'll be more messed up than when you came in. The doctor would constantly contradict himself or say the wrong thing, and when I would correct him, he would simply say, "Oh yeah, that's right." He would write one set of instructions on the prescription but then tell me another set of instructions, all for pills that aren't necessary in the first place. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I have been a patient here for over 10 years, with the exception of a break when living in the Bay Area where I was seen at Stanford. Stanford has an excellent reputation but it paled in comparison to the care I've received here. When my former Dr. of years moved from the area. Casey, the office manager, and the rest of the staff in front were so kind and helpful transitioning me over to an excellent new Dr.
I don't yelp a lot but I was surprised by the other reviews. Casey has been there as long as I've been a patient, she has always been so pleasant, and has helped me whenever

Wow, I honestly don't even know where to begin. There is so much wrong with this doctors office it's not even funny and I would rate this place negative 5 stars if I could. The lady who answers your phone calls and works the front desk obviously hates her job and her life. It seems as if she just forces herself to go to work everyday just to collect a paycheck and has absolutely ZERO compassion or respect. She is an emotionless train wreck and has no business working in a doctors office where you have to work with patients who are seeking help for mental issues and need comfort and compassion

I love my doc but Casey in the office is terrible. She is very rude ALL the time. I called to ask a question regarding my bill and she is just rude and acts like I am bothering her. Apparently she hates her job or hates life in general. She is a miserable person and they need to get someone more personable and someone that actually likes customer service! I bet they lose clients because of her!

Dr. Stoll and her entire office staff are rude, inconsiderate, insensitive and condescending. The front office receptionist Kacie has zero people skills and likes to talk over you in person and on the phone. The office manager has a terrible attitude. Kathleen Stoll doesn't make her patients a priority and I would never recommend her to any one seeking out a psychiatrist. You would think in their line of work they would be understanding and welcoming but they are the complete opposite.

NAME CHANGED TO Reno Psychiatric Associates!!!
I see Kathleen Stoll every few months. She is probably the best psychiatrist that I have ever had. I've had a couple other psychiatrists in the past who were fine but kind of cold. She's warm and sees to genuinely take an interest in working with her patients. She isn't merely the be there for 10 minutes, get your prescription, and leave psychiatrist which I appreciate. Just to tell you about the kind of person she is, months after my last appointment with her, she called me to tell me about an opening she found in a job in my field
