If you can be flexible about when you move, don't wait until the summer. Also keep in mind that the first and last weeks of the month are extra-busy for all movers.

I'm shocked at the amount of 5 star reviews for this company, so perhaps they had an off day when helping us with our move. I had to tell them to wrap our mattress, and the other items they wrapped were not wrapped with care. Almost all of our furniture acquired new scratches, boxes were packed and placed upside down. Once we were at the house I had to direct where every box was supposed to go even though there were labels on everything. There was a language barrier that was a little frustrating as there was barely a basic understanding of what I was saying. I didn't get the sense these

Last week I had Richard from Bailey's Moving Co do an inner city relocation. They loaded up all our items big, small and many boxes onto their trailer in a timely and professional manner. We went from a single story to a 2-story and everything went seamlessly. I will use Bailey's again on our next move!

We were looking for a reliable moving company with fair rates for our move around the holidays. Baileys responded quickly with a free estimate. They arrived day of on time and at the ready to help with our move. The guys were super friendly and efficient and completed our move in the estimated time. Mr. Bailey arranged for two local moves for us this past week (two different families received). The men were professional, extremely capable, and caring about their loads, the walls, and doorways. Happy with the team Bailey's sent. Worked hard and steady for the whole time. Best part was no trip charges, gas, etc., just straight up dollars/hour and that was it. The only reason I give them 4 instead of 5 stars is they claimed more hours than they worked--start time at 9 didn't really start until 9:20 or 9:30 and they counted from 9. I just took it out of the tip, so no real beef on my end.

Thomas and Saul were awesome! They showed up on time, got everything loaded QUICKLY and CAREFULLY. Insured everything was wrapped properly and safe. The move was 2 1/2 hrs away and they unloaded everything even faster than they loaded it! It felt like we were on the sun it was so hot and they never complained. Can not say enough good things. Mr. Bailey was very responsive when booking, and gave us a great rate! We would recommend them to anyone in the surrounding areas!

Hired Richard and his guys to help me move from 2600sf down to 1300sf. The downsizing forced them to work around a lot of remaining furniture that was to be picked up by friends later, and to make a special trip to another home to drop off several large items. Everything was handled with care. Gio asked lots of questions to make sure they knew how to handle specific items. Great value. Would happily use them again.

We booked Bailey's to help us move apartments roughly 20 miles apart. Movers were a little late but didn't end up being an issue as they only charge for the time they work. Movers were polite and moved fast, wrapped everything and set it all up at the new apartment. Ended up getting charged for a 2 man crew, even though they sent us 3. Richard was responsive and answered all of our questions. No funny business with post-move charges or fees. Couldn't recommend a better local moving company.

I chose Baileys Moving Co. based on their Yelp reviews and the quote I received. They were OUTSTANDING!! Booking was fast and easy. The owner Richard was efficient in communicating the details and scheduling my move with a few weeks notice. I was unloading a PODS and they don't send the exact delivery time confirmation until the day prior. Richard and his team were very flexible in readjusting the logistics the day of my move! When it comes to moving, it can be very overwhelming, whether it be trying to deal with finding a truck / trailer, or dealing with the cost of a big name moving company. I had contacted Richard in regards to just moving the large furniture out of my apartment, to my new house 2 miles away. Richard was not only reliable and accommodating, he was able to plan and arrange a cross-country move within 3 days when my previous Arrangements fell through.
