Nice little Breakfast spot.... Service is standard and friendly for this type restaurant.... If u go i would recommend the Shippensburg breakfast and get the "French Toast". Yes, one of my favorite on their menu..

I realize restaurants are struggling during covid. However, there is a burger on there restaurant sign...so when we went to eat at lunch time, we were suprised to find out they are only serving breakfast anymore. Would have appreciate a sign on the door stating this, as we only realized this after placing our drink order. The waitress asked us if hash browns were ok with our meal, when we asked what the other options were, she said there were no other options...

This diner style local restaurant is a great stop for breakfast. Service was super fast, Its taken longer for me to get McDonald's before. The pancakes were amazing and the omelettes were even better. The prices were also very low. The local feel with the ship style completes the Shipensburg style.

Cozy breakfast and lunch place with friendly quick service. Good breakfast right near the University. A homey welcoming feel with basic fare except for French Toast that needs to be ordered to understand!!
A must for those visiting the University of Shippensburg!!

I want to thank the team at The WheelHouse Cafe for their kindness and generosity. We lost a loved one and needed a place to host dinner for 40 people on last minutes notice (4 hours!)The WheelHouse stepped up and opened their doors to us. They set up the restaurant with white table cloth, candles and provide service and hospitality. They gave comfort to many people in a very dark moment. Steph, Ron and Justin we will never forget this incredible act of kindness.

This is by far the best little restaurant in Town, Almost like cheers where everyone knows your name,

When we walked in no one even acknowledged our presence so I had to find someone and ask where/if we could sit.

The coffee was stale, not to mention that there was lipstick on the coffee mugs they gave us.

I got the French Toast but I'm not sure how they define French toast because it wasn't even egg battered, you had to pay extra for that.

Would not go back, would not recommend

I ordered a breakfast special, since it was before 11, and had two eggs which were cooked perfectly. The breakfast came with sausage patties, toast and hash browns. These were the best hash browns I have had in a while. Warning: the toast had a lot of butter and we loved it. All of this cost $6.50. Wow, what a deal.

I had a difficult time choosing between two breakfast restaurants. One had more stars and less reviewers while the other had less stars with more reviewers.

For reasons which we cannot deny, we had the opportunity to ask the local law enforcement which was preferred. Being very politically

Breakfast was good, service was great. Nothing spectacular. They serve a very weird french toast that I would not recommend. Pancakes were meh. Sausage was okay, bacon and hash browns great.

Good breakfast on the way out of (or in to?) Shippensburg and headed to the Interstate. The place was full with a bunch of guys who were clearly regulars as the waitress knew their names. Filling up on coffee and socializing.

I went with a simple cheese omelet with home fries and toast. The omelet was great and the toast was good. The home fries were different. Very thinly sliced potatoes that were grilled. They were very dry and the problem wasn't solved with ketchup. But that's my taste. Yours may differ.

I've eaten at 3 diners on town for breakfast. This one is the best for price, and ties with number one for fast service.

My brother says this is the best one, I think of the three (Select & Greyhound)- it's number three.

Select has the best buttery home fries, but service can be slow. Greyhound is somewhere in the middle.

I only ranked this one third for the food quality, that outweighs service & price on my personal scale. Maybe your weighting scale is different...

Nice, quiet, clean, very good service and the food is OK. They have breakfast all day.

Found this place today while looking for a new place to eat in town.

Nautical theme (of course), small but friendly little diner. They have a good selection of wraps, sandwiches, burgers, etc. - I chose the Ham & Cheese sandwich. Not bad - and the price was great for lunch these days - under 5 bucks!

Service was speedy, the place was clean - I'd come back!

Food was good .. Ambience not so good ..
Service good .. Price very good . Traveling through PA we needed a good lunch stop.
This worked out . I had a very good egg white spinach omelette. They butter their toast so if Ur on a diet watch out .. Interesting to see the locals !

Best breakfast in ship, and yes I mean better than B&B on king. Since I went to school here the place has changed names a few times, but wheelhouse seems to be around to stay. Can't beat the service from Christina the waitress, my drinks never get empty before she's around to refill them!
I like their special, pancakes or French Toast, both ads great, with eggs, home fries, and your choice of meat with toast!
