Our mission is to provide high-quality early childhood education, care and youth development programs. We provide affordable care including educational curriculums and enrichment opportunities for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in Western Cuyahoga County and Lorain County since 1978. We offer a variety of child care programs all day at our 12 conveniently located centers.
We also offer before school, wrap-around and after-school programs for children K through 12 years at many schools in Western Cuyahoga/Lorain County, plus at our 10 Horizon Centers. The scholarship was timely because we have endured some financial struggles in the past few months. As a single mother I have enough to pay bills, there is not much room for extra things.

We understand what it's like to be a busy, working parent. At Horizon, receive discounted childcare and be able to work where your children receives care every day. We honor and recognize the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces, and our Executive Directive Dave Smith served as a career military service member himself.
Horizon offers infant care at select locations and toddler care to nurture your child in their earliest years. As your child grows, they will participate in numerous social and educational activities that focus on kindergarten readiness, while our highly qualified staff will guide your preschool child in reading readiness, math and science, and movement with individualized lesson plans.
All of our conveniently located child care centers provide a clean, safe educational setting for your child to learn and have fun. Horizon Education Centers has provided high quality care and education for over 40 years. Whether you're looking for child care, preschool, school age programs or summer camp, Horizon offers these enrichment programs for children 6 weeks* to 12 years of age.
We offer enrollment options to meet your needs and tuition varies based on the attendance schedule you choose for your child. Please give your preferred center a call for a personalized quote. Enrollment Contract (includes requirement to pay for all absent days, holidays and pay in advance by the first of month or pay a late fee after the 15th).
Each child is assigned a primary caregiver to provide unique experiences and tailored care. Horizon's infant care utilizes the creative curriculum for infants and toddlers which helps teachers and caregivers offer engaging experiences. Our care plans help support nutritional guidelines and other unique needs.

My children were recently enrolled. Experience has not been great since. The staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. It’s been issues since I enrolled my kids. My child was bit his second day and I was told this was normal. They call numerous times throughout the day for non emergencies and send your kids home for minuscule things. It’s not the worst daycare but it wouldn’t be my recommendation.

I have not only been an employee with Horizon for 13 years but I have had all three of my children enrolled at some point throughout that time. Horizon is dedicated to the safety and well being of every child. They have made changes over the years to enhance the quality of each program they offer.

As the Center Director of this center I can tell you that myself along with the teachers and staff, that we will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by Horizon Education Centers, North Olmsted location by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. I have been in childcare for 6 years now and one thing I can say is that we are dedicated! We have implemented a lot of new things into our building to help keep the children safe and making sure that families feel like they are still apart of their child’s learning. We believe that communication and collaboration with families is the only way to serve your child to the best of our ability! As a preschool teacher we are working hard on helping every child be Kindergarten ready and help them to be confident and excited to go to school. Horizon Center is the best center. My kids love to come here and enjoy how teachers are awesone and supportive. My kids learned a lot from this center including their social interaction with other kids. I've only been working for horizon for a little bit but for the time that i have been here its been nothing but truly amazing. The way the staff is with the kids, they just go above and beyond to make them smile and laugh and have a great time while they are here. Getting to be a float and go from room to room with the different age groups i wouldn't change it for the world. Getting hugs by the kids the moment i walk in the room or hearing "where were you yesterday?" It makes my heart melt. Horizon is truly a wonderful place to work and be apart of, I'm so happy that i got the chance to join the

As an employee, I can say that the teachers number one priority is keeping their students safe, healthy, and ready to move forward in school and in life. I have worked for Horizon for 4 years and can honestly say, I would never want to work along side any other people. We all work together to make sure our students achieve all they can and are the best prepared for kindergarten, grade school, middle school, and beyond, as they possibly can be. I highly recommend sending your child to our center if you are looking for high quality child care!

As a parent and employee I cannot say enough great things about Horizon. My kids have attended for nearly six years and as happy as can be. Tutoring after school, homework help, lessons (yes, they do more than just hang out after school), friendships, and fun. Add in a great summer camp schedule every year and it's a recipe for success. The staff is caring and communicates often with parents (and not just because I'm on the staff) As a parent on the staff, I know how important it is for kids to have a caring environment. We strive to be the best and work hard to maintain our 4star SUTQ rating
