As a former engineer, I've worked with a lot of contractors in the past 20 years. I've seen the dregs, and I've seen the great ones. None is better than Vonnegut Thoreau. All 3 partners (Matt, Justin, and Kevin) consistently provide the highest service and the best communication. They are skilled, conscientious, and thorough, and they operate with the utmost integrity. They always have great ideas, but they also listen. That's so important in a contractor! I have recommended them to friends & colleagues who have had similar experiences with them. I wouldn't hesitate

I have renovated and remodeled several homes in the Bay Area, and, therefore, speak from experience. Vonnegut Thoreau was, by far, the best construction company I have ever worked with. KVT construction exemplifies all that a contracting team can and should be. From beginning to end they collaborated, innovated and bargain hunted with me. Most importantly my project was completed on budget, on time and on target.
