I am especially grateful for the support and prayers of my loving and wonderful husband, Daniel- you are my love, my friend, my business partner and my biggest fan! To ensure that your "special day" receives our full attention, we will only book one wedding per weekend. Kathy Grate serves as a Principal Planner on every event and she will always have at least one assistant present with her on the day-of your wedding to executively manage your wedding details and ensure a smooth flow throughout the day.
Divine Occasions' Services include a complimentary initial consultation to ensure that we can meet every client's individual needs. Details of all services are explained during our consultation and we will provide a custom detailed quote after our meeting. Please note- we are available for travel. Designed for the couple who wants the ultimate support and guidance through the wedding planning process.
Quite simple, you meet with us (prior to booking) and then we discuss what your dream event will look like! Our Design by Divine team will meticulously create a custom event design and ensure that your occasion is filled with luxe linens, lounge furniture, lighting and much more! We come up with concepts and ideas to help bring your dream to fruition!

Kathy was absolutely incredible to work with! Especially as a Covid bride with one wedding postponed and one that was dicey up until the last minute, she was so patient, encouraging and always willing to think outside the box to help us with any situation.
She was the perfect partner in helping us navigate the crazy wedding world - I could not recommend anyone more highly than Kathy.

I would highly recommend Divine Occasions to anyone planning their wedding! Kathy is so amazing to work with. She is thorough, responsive, and most importantly, respects your budget! I felt very comfortable working with her and truly felt that she wanted the best for my wedding. I worked with her for both wedding planning AND decor and I'm so glad I did it that way. I worked alongside Kathy and her team at Divine Occasions this last weekend at a flawlessly planned two day wedding. Being a makeup artist in the industry , its not often you find a wedding planning team as kind , thoughtful and helpful as Kathy's . Not only did she help me in prepping the room so I could fit all my hair and makeup things, but she was quick to answer emails and calls, and I watched her effortlessly handle multiple days of ceremonies and details all with a smile on her face.
