Atlanta North Stars Gymnastics(ANSG) is a training facility in the heart of Marietta, Georgia. Our goal is to improve young lives through the sport of gymnastics and tumbling. ANSG offers opportunities for children ages 18 months to 18 years. Every attempt is made to offer programs that fit the needs, motivation and skill level of each student.
Programs are offered starting with beginner through girls competitive team gymnastics with various training from 1-day per week up to 20+ hours per week. The classes are designed to enhance the development of self-esteem, strength, coordination, and discipline. The gym is set up as an obstacle course throughout the entire gym according to age group of birthday child and guests. 1. Unkept Gym.. ripped mats, crumbling foam and stuff piles everywhere.
2. 4/5yrs taught by a instructor who just did not seem to care, was not engaging and my kids lost interest. Also, she could not control the class of 5 kids. The kids were running everywhere!
She started class late and ended it early often.
3. A lot the gym area was in a loft space which was suppose to be on a video feed so the parents could watch. The feed never worked.
4. I gave them a 30 day notices to cancel but they continue to charge my card. They stated they didn’t get a cancellation notice. So they are doing shady

Our 6 year-old did a trial class this past Saturday (3/3/18) and we were completed repulsed by the entire facility for several reasons: (1) The lady running the front desk was way too pushy. We told her up-front that we were just doing a 1-day trial of the beginner class, and she tried to get us to immediately enroll as monthly members. When I told her no, she said, "Ok, just tell me your final answer after today's trial is over." Again, no. I have every right to 'shop around' at different gyms until we find the right one... (2) Our daughter has minimal prior experience, which only includes cartwheels

Horrible. Once we left this place my daughter actually started to like gymnastics again. Not a great facility. Mean coaches who actually said "figure it out" when my daughter was questioning something. While watching during a class I also noticed the coaches were more into gossiping with each other then paying attention to the private lessons they were giving to other students.

My daughter joined the optionals team at Atlanta North Stars Gymnastics a year ago. She had outgrown the gym where she started out 8 years prior and needed to find a facility with great coaches and a large level 9/10 team. At such a high level, she needed mentors who were already doing the skills she was starting to learn. A coach at a different local gym recommended that we take a look at North Stars because she said it was the only gym she would send her daughter to in Georgia. ANSG has a proven track record training girls at level 9/10 and consistently sends gymnasts to college on scholarship

My daughter joined Atlanta North Stars as on the Excel team 4 seasons ago, and is now currently training JO Level 9. Atlanta North Stars has highly qualified coaches that have moved her through the various levels and she has been very successful each competition season. In fact, all the competitive teams at the gym are highly ranked in the state! (Kudos to our great coaches!) Our competitive team gymnasts are like a sisterhood.....the girls all really enjoy being together and root each other on during meet season! If your child is a beginner and loves gymnastics, the recreational tumbling classes

We joined ANSG about 3 years ago and have been more then pleased with the gym. The coaching staff is professional and knowledgable in the sport of gymnastics and they understand how to cater their coaching and skills to each gymnast's needs. I hope my daughter continues to thrive in the sport and I look forward to many more years with Coach Grisha.

We have been here for about a year now, my daughter came with some self doubt but has grown to believe in herself because ALL her coaches believe in her. She has the best team mates who encourage her and everyday she leaves with a smile, and if you have ever seen her smile you'd know that's worth a million bucks!!! Thank you ANSG for bringing her smile and confidence back.

My daughter 6, started here a few months ago against my better judgment. It is UN-kept, dirty, the bathrooms are never cleaned and disgusting. But the coach seemed OK. Well now my daughter has a new summer coach and she is nothing but MEAN to her and rude. She tried something new that scared her and the coach said she did a terrible job instead of encouragement! She pushed down so hard on her when she was doing a split she was sore fore 2 days! She was bullied by another girl in her SAME CLASS. Unexcuseable! Stay away
