We are a family run campground with lots of space to play in. Our private 90 foot deep, spring fed lake is wonderful to swim, fish and play in. To keep our lake pristine, we allow electric motors and human power only. There is a nice sand beach and a swimming raft. We also offer rentals of fishing boats, pontoons, paddle boats and canoes.
For out of the water fun, we have a sand volleyball court, horseshoes pits, children's playground, and trails for hiking, & biking. We offer many activities over the holiday weekends and lots of other weekends in-between, including kids games, canoe races, horseshoe and volleyball tournaments.

Bent Trout Lake in Barnum is the greatest! I have been coming here with my mother, my daughters and now my grandchildren since the mid-90s. Over the years, we have rented pontoons or paddle boats or just gone swimming. We are tent campers and places to camp are rapidly going away but BTL has some of the most spacious campsites I have ever encountered. We use site 80 down the hill. I haven't been here since like 2005 and while it's modernized and kept up with the times it's still a peaceful campground. There are some permanent sites there that I recognize since the 1990s and it's nice that while

I have a seasonal site I love it here all the people here are very helpful friendly. The owners have been here forever they are always working to keep things cleaned up and maintained all the time. If the Covid 19 would disappear then would be able to go to the family events held at campground but this year canceled. This is my happy place.

A family-owned campground situated on a private lake. Both seasonal leases and "weekender" rental sites. A developed beach access to the lake surrounded by virginal untouched nature. Filled with friendly Minnesotans, I don't think camping gets any better than this (unless one desires a true, experience "roughing it" independently completely in the wild)!

We just spent 5 nights here visiting our family. Friendly place and nice location. The grounds are kept up fairly well enough. Lots of Camper sites and tent sites available at reasonable rates. The lake was nice and there are a lot of rental boats available. The kids love the lake and have a lot of fun on the raft.
Our main beef is the bath house, its a hell hole and is in DIRE need of some TLC and some SERIOUS upgrading. Theres no ventilation, Poor lighting and the smell from lack of cleaning is deplorable. You don't really want to touch anything. You cannot lock the toilette stalls and

Great privatly owned lake so you don't need a license to fish there. They do not allow gas powered boats, only battery operated, so the water is pristine. Great for families. Very clean, they aren't intrusive and the swimming doesn't get any better than here. No weeds or crazy boats/jet skis flying around so it is safe. They have showers, a store, horseshoes, and various other games. The sites are fairly private. Very good for those who like to camp but not rough it too much.
