Be Youthful Aesthetics was founded in 2008 by Dr. Karen Kohatsu MD to serve the men and women of San Diego and Southern California. BioTE(R) Medical provides training on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy in the form of subcutaneous pellets. We offer training on two kinds of pellets: both estradiol and testosterone pellets. These pellets are inserted into the upper buttocks area during an in-office visit, after testing has been done to determine the exact quantity of the hormone the patient requires.

I am receiving laser tattoo removal and not only is Dr Karen Kohatsu amazing, so is her staff. They ask throughout each treatment if you are comfortable and /or are experiencing any pain. If you are experiencing pain, they ask your level and if you are okay. They are informative and educated on all products and services that they offer. I am very excited to finish my treatments and see the end results prior to my wedding this year. Thank you Doctor K and staff!
