In 2012 Dr. Debra Stokan and Dr. Karen Jaggers formed Stokan Jaggers & Associates with the vision of creating a personalized mental health practice where practitioners could collaborate daily in an effort to provide exceptional mental health services to our clients.

Services
Dr. Stokan is now set up through the DEA to eScribe medications. This means patients no longer need to come in to the office to pick up written prescriptions. We still need to receive your requests the same way through our website. We just ask for you to reply and provide us with your pharmacy. Please call your pharmacy for any refill medications.
Dr. Stokan is trained as a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She has been serving both the west side of Houston and the Fort Bend County areas for over 18 years in private practice. She completed her medical student education, and both her general psychiatry residency program and her child and adolescent fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School - Houston.
Individual counseling is available to assist the client to better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Counseling services are provided in a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental atmosphere to assist individuals in dealing with all of the challenges that are presented in their everyday and not so everyday life.
Mendy's clinical strength comes from taking extensive time to understand the person, their journey, their hopes and future goals, to see clearly where they may feel stuck or at a total impasse. Each person is unique to Mendy and therefore she tailors her approach to best meet each client's needs.

Joy Pellerin is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a desire to help others who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and/or relationship difficulties. Joy worked as a psychotherapist in a residential treatment facility for adolescents displaying maladaptive behaviors, such as self harming, verbal and physical aggression, running away, and other self-destructive tendencies.

I was referred to Dr. Stokan by a co-worker when I was new to Texas. They told me that it was a little pricey, but well worth it. He said that she helped his children with ADD issues, and was very conscientious to find the appropriate medicine, and correct dosage to acquire satisfactory results without overmedicating. Dr. Stokan was able to help my daughter and me with ADD issues. She listened to our needs, and made any necessary adjustments to find the perfect fit. They will bill you for appointments you NEVER made! They don't even deserve one star! And clearly the receptionist staff is not prepared to handle people who are mentally ill. I was hung up on for using one little swear word because yes, I am mad we were billed for an appointment I never made! I feel I have every right to be damned mad!
