We offer several levels of group rides throughout the year from beginner road rides, to advanced mountain bike trips and centuries. During the winter we offer spin classes and night mountain biking trips. We have cycling skills development classes, basic and advanced repair classes, and workshops about how to stay happy and healthy while on your bike.

Our aim is creating cyclists, not just selling bikes. We provide advice, classes and training, group rides, suggested local bike trails and routes, and the best quality and staff tested gear for your next safe and prepared cycling trips. We all ride our bicycles and we all have specialties. Some of us are better roadies, some are mountain bikers, downhillers, or BMX racers, and some are just plain commuters.

Excellent service and follow through on my Espin Nesta Ebike. Very responsive and fair on pricing as well as friendly. Tech staff very knowledgeable about all things bike related. Have bought and had serviced Marin MTB with always excellent results, too. They will service all brands whether bought from them or not. Support your local, small businesses.

Over the years I've had the opportunity to visit many bike shops, but Mike's Hike & Bike is one of the best I have ever been to. I stopped by to pick up some supplies I forgot at home in Michigan, and Mike helped me find out what I needed, and invited me to join him on the first of the shops night road rides. I am trying to find information on Boone Gap Outfitters in Berea ... I love how they closed up shop without letting me know and took off (stole) my equipment that I had there. I have been trying to contact them over 50 times to return my stuff ... I love Mike's hike and bike they are honest people. However if anyone reads this I would sure like to get a hold of the owner of Boone Gap Outfitters, and if he opens another door (store) in Kentucky...beware

Worth the drive from Lexington! I started contacting this bike shop back in March because they were the only local dealer who sold my favorite brand of bike. Of course, no bikes to be had then or since, so after a few phone calls, I took my 40 year old Peugeot in to see if they could fix it. I previously had it tuned/fixed a couple times at a shop in Lex but the slipping gears were a continuous problem and I had more or less given up on it. This was an on and off again bike I have ridden for many decades.... They figured out I needed a free wheel replaced and they had it done in a couple of

These guys are the most knowledgeable people in the area and are great at what they do. I've never seen a more compassionate staff who are happy to cater to everyone's needs! The shop isn't just about bikes - they also have tons of outdoor gear, hammocks, clothing items and expertise regarding each item in the store which is hard to come by these days.

This is the best service you will get! Jay (pretty sure his name was Jay) helped me with my inner tube flat on my second hand bike. He is knowledgeable about the process and the service was painless- super affordable and fast. He answered all of the questions I had during the process and showed me a couple of his tips and tricks he learned over the years. Awesome store!

Just stopped in to pick up a static rope I've been needing.
I was attended to by Casey and Jay. These gentlemen not only knew climbing, but were fully knowledgeable in bikes, hiking, and the outdoors in general.
