The agent got rude when I made a reservation with another company, saying "I wouldn't have spent my time if I knew you wouldn't make a reservation with me. The company you chose (Sherpa) isn't real." I understand the agent was frustrated, but customers are not obligated to choose their service. It's their job and they shouldn't lash out their frustration at customers for choosing a better service somewhere else. Unprofessional.

If I can give this company 0 stars I would. They need to teach their employees how to appropriately speak and interact with potential customers. I spoke to Zachery earlier today, who was nothing but rude and offensive. He quoted me 3-400 dollars more than all the other transport company and became extremely rude and offensive when I told him that I was not expecting to pay that much to ship my 15 year old car from CA to NJ . He proceeded to lecture me on why the price was as quoted as such and told me that I didn't know anything. After telling him that this will actually be the 4th time

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...read the other one-star reviews on this company before choosing Budget Auto Shipping. In February 2018, I paid $400 dollars up-front before dropping my car off at Honolulu port. Once my car arrived in Long Beach, B.A.S. told me they had a hard time getting transporters to truck my car to another state (my home). Long story short, my car sat at Matson lot for four extra day (of which I paid $60 extra). Finally, since they were so incompetent, I flew down to Long Beach and drove my car 9.5 hours to get back home. I would NEVER use this company EVER again. Oh, by the way,

This place is a scam. Auto was picked up by a 2nd party near Denver for shipment to Honolulu. The Driver picking it up was to take the car to Long Beach Ca & given to Matson. Someone called the driver the day after pickup and told Him to hold the car. We were notified by the driver a month later that the car was in storage and had incurred $500 worth of storage fees which were non refundable. We now have to pickup the car from a storage lot near Denver and find a new shipper & We have to find someone else to do it as the move to Hawaii has been completed. This is outright fraud.

Absolute terrible service. This place made me sick. My wife puts down a deposit and gives them the dates she wants her car shipped. She is given a price to ship her car. Cool. 3 days before she calls and can't get through. 2 days before she calls and can't get through. Day before her flight she calls and finally gets through to be told the price will be more than discussed AND they can't even find a driver to pick her car up. Now she has to drive her car out herself and has to cancel a $300 flight we've already paid for. Thanks budget auto shipment for ruining my weekend and

Update-After this post and an email requesting a refund the truck was picked up and delivered to KY on the 19th by a very nice gentleman. It cost an add'l $150 and not cost the negotiated price on the contract but we were desperate, I would never ever use these guys again because the loss of sleep is unmeasurable and contracts mean nothing!
DO NOT USE!!!! SCAM~~~TOOK THE MONEY AND NO RESPONSE! Never pay upfront for a service...my husband has learned this lesson the hard way!

Beware! Terrible customer service; company will not respond to my phone calls and messages. Not providing the service I paid for. I called this company on April 5, 2018 and spoke to Alek Dominquez to arrange a quote for shipping a vehicle from Wilmington, NC to Olympia, WA. I had been working with another carrier who was unable to successfully complete the shipment, so I called Budget to see if they could get the job done. Terrible shipping company. They are currently holding my parents car hostage in Los Angeles demanding that my parents pay for "storage" of their vehicle or pay additional money for delivery to Colorado. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Details: Budget Auto contracts with Madson - they shipped the car from Hilo to LA - now Budget Auto claims that Madson didn't have the car in port in time for Budget Auto's delivery truck. Asked for a quote and was given one with a disclaimer that you can't hold these guys to the quote listed. When I emailed Camilo Jaime about this he said, "don't worry, I own the company, I just put it on there to cover my (rear)." I used him and referred my son to him because he said he could get a discount for 2 cars.
1) My son did not get a discount for his car
2) My son's car sat in port for 10 days before Camilo got around to finding a truck for it.
3) My car was in port for over 24 hrs and still didn't get a call from Camilo (see #2 above) so

I had been in contact with Budget Auto for the past few months. I was always able to get a hold of Camilo and he was very helpful every step of the day. There was an extra charge added cause Budget stated it the car wasn't at the port while the truck to deliver it to Iowa was ready. The total ended up being $2000 which was still cheaper than most places I contacted and this was from Honolulu to Dubuque, Iowa. If we ship our car in the future I would for sure use them and recommend them to anyone in Hawaii that is looking to ship their car to where they will be moving.

If I could give no stars I would! I got a quote from them to ship an oversized work vehicle. I had gotten some really expensive quotes so I was really pleased when budget auto shipping said they could do it for $3,000. I made sure to asked them repeatedly if that was correct for the dimensions and the boom lift. Damian ensured me that it was correct. I was a little weary being it was $2,500 cheaper then any other company, but I was stoked. He took a $500 deposit and sent me a confirmation number and email. Two days later I called because Damian said he would send me another conformation number

Will never use them again! I had called and booked for my car to be shipped on a specific date. Not only did they mess it up the date for my pickup, they forgot to find another person to ship the car until I reminded them of it the day of it being picked up AND, when they did find someone, said it would cost me more money because of it! I am furious! It should not come out of my pocket because of their mistake.

If I could give this zero stars I would. They gave me a quote of $2000 to ship my car to Hawaii and were supposed to pick the car up on January 9. Of course they didn't pick up my car, and said because of the weather that the price would increase by $500. Even then they couldn't guarantee they could get a driver to pick up my car. So, I decided to go to another company to see if I could get my car shipped with a definite date at a cheaper price. My experience with budget was virtually painless. It was a ton cheaper than the other quotes I got to ship my car from NC to Honolulu. They set up the 18 wheeler to come pick my car up - the driver was as awesome as they come. My car got to Honolulu exactly when they said it would and the car was great! They did forget to put my name as the pick up person, so I had to wait a few minutes while that got sorted out. Camillo called me and emailed Matson right away. I was out the door with my car 10 minutes later.

I have had a car shipped from Hawaii to LV, the estimated arrival date of the car was to be on 7/9/14. I made sure to request that whole day off to be there for the delivery. However, once that day came we did not hear from anyone, no updates, nothing. So we called them to check up on the status and they told us that it won't arrive until 7/11/14 or 7/12/14 the LATEST due to 4th of July messing up the shipping process. I am a very patient person so it did not bother me at all and I was willing to wait the extra couple of days. For work once again I called in both days on the 11 and 12 but

Once I placed a 1-star review the supervisor got involved and rectified the problem Was able to get a transporter within 24 hours to pick up the van. I appreciate the urgency and thanks to Yelp's review to get things to happen. Would I use again? Yes, but ensure to hold them to the transport date and if they miss the wondow contact someone with authority to make things happen. Many military members use this service with success, so for a legitimate business, you are safe with these guys.
