Our family had an extremely negative experience with Solutions Federal Credit Union at our most vulnerable time; when we were dealing with the passing of my mother. On the day after her passing, without any official paperwork or notification, their first action was to completely empty her account to pay themselves back on a line of credit she had taken out with them. This was an issue due to the fact that a few days prior to her death, we had written a check to the funeral home for final expenses, which had yet to be cashed.

Terrible customer service. Change their policies from one day to the next without notifying anyone. They force you to write remote deposit and account number on check to deposit, then deny the deposit so the check is no longer good. I spoke to the manager who hung up on me, but then called him back and was assured he would take the checks for me this one time. I advised that I do not get out of work until 5 and was assured he would be there to handle it. He wasn't. The clerks insisted there was nothing they could do. The preferred bank for white supremacists everywhere! I came to this credit union to apply for an auto loan several years ago. First, although i had been approved for the loan the loan officer, Bill, attempted to talk my girlfriend out of co-signing (I'm black she's white) for me. When she disregarded his ridiculous statements, he then proceeded to lecture me for several minutes about how if I were late on payments they were going to repossess my car and sell it out front of the bank.
