Helvetia is a picturesque rural community located just 15 miles west of Portland and north of Hwy 26. The community is approximately 15 square miles in size and consists of low elevation level farmland and some upper elevation (800ft) forest and slope land. This community has rich Swiss roots dating back to the 19th century with farmers settling in the area, which many decedents still live and actively farm in the area.

The buyer pays for most inspections including a professional home inspection, quantity well flow test, septic inspection, radon level and others. A seller typically does not pay for inspections since they are in the interest of the buyer other than what is required by the State of Oregon which includes testing well water for quality.
