After initially becoming a stylist, I decided I wanted to be able to provide special services that not everyone else was doing. I attended a five day course at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco, soon thereafter over the course of a year and a half went to Los Angeles for three more 5 day courses.
Looking your best on a day to day basis is so much easier when your hair "behaves" itself. The best way to make sure that happens is to start with a good style and cut. Whether your hair is long and flowing, cropped short, or somewhere in between, I'll give you a style that fits your face and features, as well as your lifestyle.
Nothing beats a salon experience for shiny, healthy, natural looking hair coloring results. If you want something close to the color you were born with or a new look altogether, I can help you. Because I use only top quality products, we will keep the integrity of your hair in the process. Whether you are coloring your hair to change your look or to cover the gray, you will need an occasional root touch-up as the treated hair grows out.
Removing unwanted hair from your face doesn't have to be a painful experience. Through the waxing process, hair will gently disappear. If you have unwanted hair that needs removing, or brow hairs where they don't belong, I can remove them semi-permanently through waxing and they will not grow back for several weeks.

I figured it was time for an update to my last review. Still 5 stars but it needed more. I hadn't had a haircut in a long time. Nearly a year. I was looking rough! With this COVID-19 stuff going on, my hair was just getting out of control. I also had my wedding anniversary coming up. I needed to look my best for that. I just knew that Wendi was the person to see. I ended up texting her about an appointment on short notice. I only tried to get in a couple of days before I needed it. She's a real trooper! She squeezed me in, got the shrub of hair I had going under control and, sent me out

I am long over due for writing this review! I've been a client of Wendi's for more than 10 years! I've gone short, long, curly and straight! Blonde, brunette and red! I feel like we've grown up together. She's one of the most dedicated hairdressers in Paso Robles, hardworking and accommodating! Her training is extensive, including Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. One of my favorite features is she's a one woman show, no other hairdressers and blowers to talk over. A very relaxing and pampering experience.

I have been coming to Wendi for about 3 years. I could not ask for a better stylist!! I have been to MANY hair stylist over the years and Wendi is the first that my husband of 35 years has commented on..... He has never seen my hair look better! It truley is a joy to visit her every 4 weeks. She spends so much time with each client so you never feel rushed..........and she LISTENS to what you want. Love her!!!!!!!

When I moved to Paso 11.5 years ago, I was referred to Wendi by another client. I have been loving my haircuts ever since. I often get stopped around town by people who want to know who cuts my hair. She is up to date on the latest styles and techniques and is a hoot to talk to while getting my hair done.
