If I could give a zero I would. My grandfather was admitted after having seizure like episodes (which has happened before) and later tested positive for covid. He was there for 3 days (would have been longer had my grandmother not removed him) wasn’t allowed visitors and was treated very poorly. My grandfather is a veteran, has agent orange health issues and cannot do much for himself. He came home in the same clothes he was admitted in despite being taken extra clothes and was nasty with some kind of goo in his hair not bathed and had sticky stuff dried around his mouth. If you can’t do better

Sent to ER by my doctor for cellulitis and to rule out a possible blood clot in my leg. I was scared to death! Triage brought me back for treatment quickly and the ER doctor came in immediately to ask questions and order appropriate tests. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, kindness, and reassurance demonstrated by those who cared for me that day! My questions were answered, medication given, and all of my needs attended to in a timely manner. Thank you all so much!

My husband contracted COVID in July, 2021, and ended up in ICU and subsequently on the ventilator five days later. I cannot say enough nice things about the dedication of the nurses and doctors our family had contact with and for the excellent care he received. Even though he died, I found some comfort in knowing that everything was done for him that could be done.

ER waiting room full of people that had been there for over 6 hours while the er exam rooms were full of people waiting to be transferred upstairs. Open another floor of the hospital half the place is sitting empty. I was sent to the ER by my primary care with a concussion and suspected bleed. My doctor had called and let them know I was being sent over, and needed a scan of my head. didn't want me to wait for days to get it done. After 4 hours (included 1 hr in the exam room) I never saw a doctor or nurse (other than the original triage nurse when I first arrived). I walked out.

The ER is awful. Waited in the ER with my 78 year old mother for over 5 hours, who had pneumonia and sepsis, she could barely walk or sit up.... only 6-8 other people waiting.
You could drive from Morganton to Charlotte, be seen by a Doctor (of much better quality) and drive back to Morganton in less time.

After falling while hiking I was brought to this hospital. Xrays showed a hip fracture. I was admitted and had surgery the next day. I spent several days in the hospital and then went for rehab. My experience at this hospital was very good. The doctors, nurses, housekeeping etc everyone was kind and compassionate, and asked frequently if there was anything they could do to help me in any way. The nurses and nurses assistants were friendly and provided excellent care. I appreciate each and every one of you!

They sent my bill to collections ONE MONTH after date of service. I had insurance, that they had on record, and they refused to bill my insurance. Ive already spoken to insurance group who said it would have been fully covered, but atrium health chose to submit it to collections and hurt my credit instead of billing my insurance. Now I've been working on getting them to do the job they should have done in the first place and its been a month. The bill still sits on my credit score and they refuse to bill my insurance and get the bill off my credit. I do not recommend Atrium Health or any of their
