Our custom-built cabins provide a feeling of home away from home, with their high ceilings and country charm. With 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a fold-out couch in the living room, each cabin easily accommodates 2 adults and 2 or more lkids. Very nice RV park. The restrooms are immaculate and very spacious.

Back your rig into one of our expansive 70' x 45' back-in sites or pull in to one of our 75' x 45' pull-thru sites. Either way, you'll have more than enough room to spread out and enjoy your stay on our sprawling 33-acre property. Most of our tent sites are segregated from the main roadways to allow for a more primitive experience.

We were on our way from Padre Island to Denver. Just were looking for the place to spend the night. Hitchin’ Post was right on our way. After reading reviews we decided to stop there. Even it was after hours the self check in was easy. We really were shocked how well maintained this place is. From the playground to laundry room. Bathhouse was amazingly clean and roomy. We definitely will be stopping there again. Lena

A "Prarie RV Park" so don't expect big trees and shade. 😊 But if you like a hearty Texas welcome, immaculate and private bathroom/shower facilities, a large laundry room and a great porch to relax while you're clothes are washing, don't pass up this park. Yes, its close to 1-27 but the traffic was fairly light and we were not bothered by any noise. The owners/managers are very caring and work hard to provide a pleasant experience. We will be back!

Such nice owners! We only stayed 1 night but such a nice stay. Really nice flat spots, full hook ups, and we didn't notice in the night but they do have cable. Have a little dog park and a great play area for the kids. The kids especially liked the chickens and the owners gave us some eggs for staying with them which were delicious for breakfast.

This is a hidden gem. I chose this place after reading the not so stellar reviews on the hotels in the area. We rented 2 cabins for a week. They were very clean, which is something that is a must for us. The bed was nice and firm. Cookware is provided in the cabin, which was great since they have fresh eggs available. Staff was very nice and accommodating. They have a nice playground for the kids, and a fenced in dog run. They also have a wash area for dogs with warm water, made us wish we brought our dogs. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in one of their cabins and it was very nice. Living room, dining area and kitchen are one space with a bedroom and spacious bathroom. There's a porch with picnic table and a hibachi oven too. Kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave and stove/oven (full size!) as well as coffee/tea maker and lots of dishes for a group of six, silverware and pots and pans. There's even pans is you want to make a cake or muffins! TVs in both rooms. Bring your own food and shampoo and you're good to go.
