Was a little hesitant to give this place a shot due to some of the bad reviews but I’m glad I went in. Yes admittedly they don’t have a receptionist or sales person on the floor ( as someone pointed below) but in good reason, because they are all coaches staffed and are all attending the kids and giving them all their full paid for session time. The kids are the stars of the show and parents are rarely addressed unless coaches would like the kids to work on something at home & honestly I feel that dynamic is perfect. It empowers the child . They also don’t have much time to chat with families

I was so excited to take my daughter in for a trial class. We get there, I sign a waiver and she's off to join in. I understand there isn't a lot of time for conversation but no one said a word to me after the class. No one asked my daughter did she enjoy it or anything. She never attended gymnastics class before so I didn't know what to expect. But common courtesy and human interaction is expected at any time when you're trusting someone to help your child. No one asked was I coming back. I had to ask for the registration info but something in me said don't pay. Then I read these reviews and I

I have worked at many gyms and I truly love Stars gymnastics. They create a fun learning environment for both their competitive and recreational program. I highly recommend for anyone who is interested in learning the art of gymnastics!!!

My daughter had attended stars over the past 2 years. This past year she joined the Excel team and it was an amazing experience. Coach Jen not only challenged my daughter, but helped build her confidence to compete! Coach Jen helped develop her skills/abilities but she also increased my daughters love for the sport! We unfortunately had to move, but if I could have taken Coach Jen with us, I would have!!!

What kid doesn't like to jump, climb and fly in the air? My daughter is having the best time when she comes to learn. She is getting stronger and confident every time she learns something new. The staff seems to all be nice, there is plenty of viewing room to watch your child and I think the pricing is reasonable.

I would not recommend this place if you wish to be treated professionally, want to ask questions to ensure your child’s needs are being met, or want to make sure the gym’s goals and your childs’ goals align. The first, and only, conversation I had with the owner consisted of him getting in my face; he was very unruly, disrespectful, capricious, and temperamental. You would be treated better anywhere else. If I could, I would give this place 0 stars

I enrolled my 3-year-old son in Stars for a 1/2 day camp because his school was closed that week (It's very hard to find camps that take children that are that young and if they do there's a waitlist or its pricier or not locally convenient and I didn't just want a normal day camp) and he's always liked tumble gyms when he was younger. The counselors couldn't have been sweeter to him, knew his name right away, and told me about his progress afterward. I also found them to be very friendly. The most important thing to me is HE HAD FUN WHILE LEARNING A NEW SPORT AND MADE

I'm an adult and one of the few adults who want to do this stuff in the area. Stars is very accommodating, with the equipment in good shape. My coach is friendly, knowledgeable and just as excited for my progress as I am. I can't wait to go back and continue to train with these people!

To outsiders who say this is dingy or not well-run: Every gymnastics gym will have some chalk on the floors and equipment. The building shows some age, but everything works well and I didn't find any issues with the staff based on my experience other places.

5 stars for all the amazing and talented people who dedicate their lives to our children and ultimately run a great gym. They positively reinforce good values and confidence in kids. They are the best at what they do and that is reflected in their accolades and achievements.
I have to deduct points for the lady who manages the front desk- if you have been into Stars a SINGLE time you know who I'm talking about. I have seen her pick fights with every parent in the gym and never admits when she is at fault, for even the smallest of infractions. I would recommend the gym to any parent but

I didn't have a good experience. Booked for a trial class for my 3 year old. The person I spoke with was very informative and we were excited. We went early on a Saturday morning and there was no one at the reception desk. Which was okay because the students got an adult for me. There weren't any students there her age so the person asked if she wanted to warm up with the older students. Which was kind of awkward because my child didn't have a clue of what she was doing. I pulled her to the side and we watched the older girls warm up. They were great! And the male Coach seemed very knowledgeable

After attending another gym that made her feel more discouraged than 'encouraged', we enrolled our daughter at Stars. Thanks to the amazing staff and coaches, she has flourished and jumped up two levels in a matter of months. The coaches pour so much of themselves into these kids and we know they are 1000% committed to the success of their athletes. We drive all the way to the gym from another county because they are just that good. Put Stars on your short list, check them out and you'll see the difference. They make working hard fun and the kids love to push themselves because they trust and believe

Call to make a appointment for a trial class and they book my appointment on a holiday and failed to tell me it was closed that day, I tried to call to make sure the class was still on that day and I didn't get any answers I left 2 messages, per Google it stated they were still open but the hours was cut short due to the holiday but when I got there the was a sign on the door stating they were closed. I was confused because this was the day they booked for me so I would have assumed they would have known that. I called two more times to rescheduled and left a voice mail but still no response from

Stars is the best gym in Tampa. My twin daughters just started on pre-team there a couple months ago and are learning more than just gymnastics, but life skills They are learning how to motivate themselves, work on their own, work hard until they get their skills correctly. This sport has brought a new structure to their life, which was highly needed.
