Should be reported for gross neglect. Our loved one was there for 4 days and almost died of dehydration. He wasn't provided food, water, basic hygiene or essential medical care. He wasn't treated like a human being and will probably never recover. It's truly sickening.

I'm still waiting for the results of my complaint to the state. This place is absolutely awful. The conditions are abhorrent, and the attention to care even worse. Trying to get someone to answer the phone? I could tell you the exact numbers to push to get full circle around the phone tree only to begin again because getting a human is near impossible. All while the rehab resident resorts to calling family and friends for help because no one answers call lights. We were lucky - we hired a nurse to go in, do an assessment and get mom out to a competent rehab. And the nurse said, "are you going to

My therapy was very nice. They were very thorough. Melissa was great. The nurses were very good, they always got me the meds I needed and were thorough. The people were nice and tried to please me. I would have liked more salads.

The staff has been very good to my grandmother. She is on the 3rd floor for rehab currently. They are very kind and have kept me well updated on her status since admission. She seems to be doing well this is a difficult time as we are unable to visit due to the pandemic but everyone is very nice there and makes sure she can talk to us a couple times a day. We are grateful for the loving care she has recieved.

This facility isn’t even worth a one star rating. I don’t even know where to start when it comes to complaints about this “nursing home”. From repeated outright lies from the “social worker”, to “care planning meetings” that myself and my sibling were oh so conveniently left out of and unaware of. The list goes on and on with this joke of a facility. If your loved one needs a loving, caring facility, steer clear of this place. Anyone leaving a positive review of this facility obviously hasn’t dealt with having a relative here, or is an employee trying to boost google ratings.

Norwich Rehab is in desperate need of frequent, regular in-person oversight by the county or state. While the nursing staff is on the high side of competent and caring, the focus of the administration and, most distressingly, the "social worker" is clearly the company's bottom line, and not the well-being of their patients. While my loved one was being stored in this facility as they entered their end-of-life stage, all inquiries I made about anything but the most palliative of on-site treatments were stonewalled; Even when I switched my efforts from getting the curative treatment recommended by

My mother-in-law has been living at Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for over two years now after living with us for over 11 years. She is very happy there and especially appreciates the staff. Every time we visit her she mentions how kind and helpful they are to her and this brings us peace of mind that she is being well-cared for. During 2020 staff have been very informative providing us updates regarding visiting procedures. I’m so happy that they follow strict guidelines and safety precautions to keep everyone safe during these unprecidented times.

I would give zero stars if I could. Simply put, you could save some dignity for your loved one, and save yourself and your family from tremendous hassle and heartbreak by making one decision:
Do not choose Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
I beg you to go elsewhere. From beginning to end, everything that could have gone wrong there did go wrong there - all of which should have and absolutely could have been prevented.
A few nurses were great, and I hope they either turn the tide there, or find a workplace more worthy of their talents and compassion. My overall experience was terrible
