I've been seeing Dr. Takahashi for over 10 years. I keep coming back because of her sensitivity to my concerns and her ability and willingness to explain what is going on inside of my eyes. At my most recent appointment, I was worried about a floater that suddenly appeared and Dr. Takahashi put me completely at ease about it. She has a passion for her work and an incredibly charming personality. I will continue to see her for my regular optometry checkups.

Dr. Takahashi and staff take great care of my and my wife’s eyes! She always takes her time and makes sure I understand her recommendations. She embraces new technologies to help her stay completely up to date with new eye exam techniques.
The office follows all COVID protocols and safety of everyone is a priority.
I do not worry about my eyes because Dr. Takahashi takes great care of them!! I’d recommend her to anyone.

I recommend Dr. Takahashi for many reasons. She was there for my daughter many years ago, providing eye therapy so she could read across a sentence .
She was there for my husband when another eye doctor missed diagnosed an eye problem.
I trust her with my eyes and I'm so glad we found her years ago.
She is a rare doctor who loves explaining what is going on with your eyes and taking time to answer questions.

A little tricky to find the office the first time but everything after that was smooth! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the doctor did an excellent job taking the time to answer my questions. Their equipment was excellent as well and I feel like I got a thorough exam without the discomfort I've experienced everywhere else. Highly recommend!

Dr Takahashi took the time to explain all the test results for my retinal problems; explaining the images on the computer as well as showing me on her model of the eyeball and all its parts. She also showed me the differences between my good eye and my bad eye so I could understand better, and helped me get an appointment with a specialist in just a few days. I was her last appointment of the day and she stayed late to make sure we had all the tests and images we needed - thanks to her staff for sticking around too!

Dr. Takahashi is simply the best eye doctor I have ever seen. She's precise and explains everything to you clearly. And she takes her time to examine you thoroughly and listen to you too. Plus, she has the most recent technology that will look into every corner of your eye. I recommend her very highly.

Amazing service and quality care. Dr. Takahashi went above and beyond in caring for my son. She was kind, patient, and thorough in getting him a fitting prescription. She took extra time with him and never made me feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing her. Her expertise and knowledge are fully apparent.

Dr. Takahashi is a professional. Thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. My son saw her for corneal reshaping contact lenses and she continued to see him until the therapy was working perfectly. And my wife, who had seen other optometrists in the area and in other parts of the country when we lived elsewhere could not be more complimentary of Dr. Takahashi. She is simply the best in her field. We drive from Grosse Pointe because Dr. Takahashi cares about doing her best for her patients.

I usually dread my routine annual eye exam, but upon finding Dr. Takahashi's office, this was one of the better experiences. Dr. Takahashi was very thorough, and also explained every process she was doing and what the test is looking for, etc. She also is very personable and spunky. She offers the retinal scan for $30 (it's elective), so you dont have to do the dilation drops that make your vision blurred for a few hours, so that was nice.
This is a world of difference compared to the Pearl Vision up the road, and even compared to other private practices I've used in the past. I

I've been seeing Dr. Takahashi since I was a kid. She has consistently been thorough, punctual, knowledgeable, patient, and very personable. She is also very honest, and doesn't try to sell you things you don't want/need. She has a great selection of frames (but doesn't pressure you to get your frames there) and her office is clean and professional.
The only downside is that the office can be a little tricky to find if you haven't been there before.
Overall, I would highly recommend this optometrist.

I'll be going elsewhere next year. The exam was perfectly acceptable, but the customer service was not up to par. After my exam, the admin gave me someone else's invoice to take with me, complete with this person's name, address, and charges. I called once I noticed and was told to just pick up my invoice when I came back for my contacts. They didn't seem particularly concerned about the mistake. Really made me feel great about them having all my records!
When I came back to pick up my contacts, I was handed two rebate forms to fill out. I had to ask twice for the admin to
