In the early years Charlie Sr. could be spotted driving one of the "Troy Vans" to and from jobs. Now after thirty years in business, three generations of Merrifields have pulled wires and installed switches at Troy.

We recently moved to Newtown in December and activated our alarm system with John. He was incredibly responsive and came to our house multiple times to first show my wife how to arm/disarm the system and then again for me on a different day.
A few months later our town was hit by a major storm and we lost power for a couple days. Our security system battery pack had died on us - we called John that evening and he arrived minutes later with a brand new battery.
We feel so lucky to have Troy Security on our side!

I worked with John at Troy Security Systems this past summer to install a state of the art security system for my home. John was professional, knowledgeable and true to his word. I made this decision because he not only does the install himself, but he's local and seemed to care more than a couple of the "big name" places I received quotes from.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! DO NOT USE THEM! We have moved out of state and have tried to disconnect our service and the only people that pick up the phone is their answering service. We have been calling for over two weeks asking for a return phone call and nobody has called us back. I have never once called and not had the answering service pick up. Plenty of other companies that will actually pick up the phone to help you. DO NOT USE TROY!
