If one-thousandth (or more) of the weight of water is from salt, then the water is "saline." The process costs so much that it isn't done on a very large scale. The cost of desalting sea water in the U.S. ranges from $1 to $16 per 1000 gallons. Showering, bathing and using the toilet account for about two-thirds of the average family's water usage.

Dave and co plumbed an old well on our property to feed our irrigation system, saving us $$ on town water and sewer. That was a great experience some years ago. Pumps don't last forever, so when it recently needed replacing they got right on it. It took a couple of visits to work out some kinks, they were very responsive. Highly recommended!

Dave and his crew do amazing work. I would recommend them. Dave went in our well and found the problem. He had all the answers to fix it right the first time.

I had asked Gagne and Sons to provide a second estimate to drill an artesian well on my seasonal lake front property in Gardner, MA. I had no water and my plumber told me the existing driven point was clogged. My plumber suggested tying into city water or drilling a well. The city water option would cost ~$15,000 and the first drilling estimate was ~$10,000. When Dave Gagne met me at my camp the first thing he said was "you're not thinking of drilling a well, are you?" He said it didn't make sense to spend that much money on a seasonal place and instead suggested that another

Excellent service! My wife and I recently came home to no hot or cold running water. I placed a call for service with a very pleasant woman, and received expert service from the technician that arrived at… our house. He was able to quickly diagnose and address the issue. He explained things every step of the way, and saw us through to a satisfactory conclusion. The technician was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and even handled the million questions my 9 year old son had without missing a beat. He had us back up and running in very short time, and it was greatly appreciated! I would not

Gagne & Son Pump has been great to work with. The new water filtration system they installed is amazing! All of the staff we have worked with have been very knowledge and friendly. They take the time to explain things to you so you understand and know what you are buying. They are priced fair and don’t force you to get things you don’t need. I will be working with them for all my water needs . Thank you Cris and Dave!

Would have given no stars if that was an option.

The work was satisfactory but their customer service, communications, test results, and billing process was extremely disorganized and frustrating.

Claimed water test results were lost or mixed up. Took weeks to get the results back which almost resulted in us not being able to close on our home.

Additional work was performed without approval.

Bill was sent 7 months after the work was completed. After check was sent, took 2 months for them to cash it.

Would not recommend due to the extremely poor customer service.

Emails were not even responded
