Hobson Window

Hobson crew installed our new Front Door, Storm Door and Sliding Glass Patio Door in three hours! Amazing work. We ordered these replacements back in August working with Kyle, given the crazy supply chain issues they were able to obtain all items in just four months.
The crew arrived right on time and where quick to get the job underway and complete within a few hours. They installed three doors and woodwork trim so efficiently and with precise attention to detail. Exceeded our expectations! The crew at Hobson's are accomplished in a variety of disciplines. Plus they are good natured and fun to work with too! They installed wall mirrors, frameless glass guards and doors, shower enclosures, and custom screens for antique fenestration in one of my building projects. Damn good, use them (but don't abuse them).

Steve, the company President has gone above and beyond to help us and made sure we… were happy, which we are!! The house looks beautiful and we get so many compliments! Buyer beware ! I took a window in to Hobson's to have a broken glass pane replaced, paid for it and was handed a receipt.

A week later when my wife picked it up, she paid for it as well. When we found the original receipt and called back to say that the window had been paid for twice, the woman who answered the phone offered to apology or sympathy and said that since the first receipt did not say "Paid" on it, it had not been paid for.

The only problem is that I most definitely did pay for it. Twice now.

I have no issue with the quality of their work.

If I could give Hobson 6 out of 5 stars, I would! We had 23 windows in our home, and the entire process with Hobson, from start to finish, was an absolute pleasure (who knew that was even possible!).

As a weekender, I'm not familiar with the local business as much as I am where I live permanently. I googled where to purchase shower doors and Hobson Window popped up. I called a very friendly woman named Denise answered who seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. They accommodated me and got me in the measure schedule for the very next day (as we were leaving to go back home). Mike came out and explained everything in great detail. Hobson windows just made a dream come true for my daughter. A dance setup, including a very large mirror, became available but had to be picked up almost immediately. The Hobson crew to the rescue. They not only picked up the mirror but installed it in my home that same day. The crew was quick, friendly and professional. They made my daughter's day. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I am a bit late in my review but better late than never! Back in April/May I called Hobson from Saugerties. I needed to replace a large glass window pane that my huge dog attempted to jump through while trying to get at a bear. I needed the job done asap and they were very accommodating. They came out within 48 hours. We have older wood-framed… single pane windows and the replacement looks original with no issues over the last several months. Did our windows about 9 years ago. They did replacements all in one day, cleaned up and left quickly. Can't complain about great work. The quality is excellent too. Call for an estimate and see they are an honest business.
