Providing phenomenal care to brain, spinal cord injury and behavioral health patients in a home like environment since 1987. Offering rehabilitation services for many types of injuries and illnesses; physical, occupational, speech and psychological therapy are just a few services we offer. Lighthouse seeks to provide phenomenal care, treating every resident and client as we wanted our son to be treated.
The Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center was founded in 1987 by Jim and Dorothea Wilson when they set out on a mission to establish a facility that would provide an exceptional level of care after their son, Jamie, was in an auto accident and they were unable to find a facility that provided the level of care they wanted for him.

Services
Lighthouse phenomenal staff successfully guide our clients through the progressive, long-term and transitional rehabilitation process with kindness and patience. Through many programs offered and therapy (such as physical, occupational, music, and more) hope and self-confidence are instilled in our clients to help them achieve a more independent level of living.
One of the young men was our son, Jamie, an athletic 20-year old nursing student who laid in intensive care, comatose, and hooked up to life-giving machines. Through our experiences, we have learned many invaluable lessons about the trauma of brain injury. The first lesson we learned we entitled, "The Grief of a Family."

They will not require staff to be vaccinated, my sons house is now on their 4th employee, and 1 resident to test positive for covid in the last 3 weeks.Asked for vaccinated staff only and was told no. We have had staff spray him in the face with water when he was Misbehaving, rub his face in his our urine for wetting his bed. Both were handled but should have never happened to start with. Would not recommend to anyone.

Knowing this place first hand I would never took perit. People Not all of them are treated kindly. An individual who ruins lives is Brandy Bly-Wilson, she implemented a "Treatment plan" that excluded all of the Family. Wouldn't alloww any contact of any kind. Also took personal cell phone and made rules for use of house phone. Tormenting this woman and children for 3 years. Unfortunately family's unable to hep mother out

My son was a inpatient and was just shy of turning 18 & he along with myself decided to terminate inpatient care, the lighthouse didn’t like it and filed papers behind my back to get guardianship of my son. Very shady place. There’s definitely better ways to voice concerns. I’m still wondering how that was even possible with him technically still a minor. The care itself was great but the strong arming to keep patients there is dead wrong.
