Lady at office is not very friendly. Should not be in a customer position the way she comes across arrogant and rude. Went to the store later on and it sign showed it was opened but nobody was there and it was locked. The campground was okay but could use some TLC. Not sure if I would recommend this place. Went down towards Blue Mesa and other campgrounds looked more updated and seemed very friendly. Sorry one star is all you deserve.

Oh man! I absolutely loved this campground!! I personally had a spot for my RV with an incredible view! (Check out the photos) the staff of the campground were totally friendly and attentive! They saw me struggling with the Rv hookups, and sent a maintenance person to help immediately. The campground is very comfortable and the tent spots I saw were grass, which I love ! The grounds were well manicured and well taken care of. I will 100 percent be back next season without a doubt!! I want to check out their cabins!

Check in was easy, staff was very friendly and helpful. Park was quite and clean. We were there for an overnight stay and it was just what we were needing. A plus was a fast internet and cell service was great too.

We pulled in for our stay in early August, and the nicest two ladies imaginable checked us in, and got us settled. Like everywhere they are short on help, but because of their great attitudes and enjoyable personalities, you would never know. We had everything we needed, everything was clean and well-taken care of. This campground is on the way to Blue Mesa reservoir from Gunnison, close to a great fishing spot and if we come back this way - we are definitely staying here. Thank you Mesa Campground!

We stayed at Mesa Campground for 2 nights recently while our tow car was being worked on in Gunnison. Our decision to stay there was last minute but since it was a Monday, they were able to get us in a spot no problem. The woman who checked us in was super nice and very welcoming. The site she first put us in already had someone in it so we pulled into one a few sites down, went back to tell her what happened and she just moved our reservation to the new spot, no hassles given! The spots have a nice amount of room between sites, which isn’t always the case in RV parks. If we are in the area again

We made reservations to park our RV for the week last minute (which we were excited about even getting given the fact that it's summer and there was an event in town). The staff was super friendly and accommodating of our need to extend our checkout until later in the day so we could finish out the work day.

The park grounds are well kept; the on site Wi-Fi worked well when we used it (we had Internet in our RV via AT&T and Verizon) and we're able to work from the RV during the week with no problems; the little laundry facility was clean and even had a nice table to fold on and

Central location near Gunnison. Sites are “tight” but if you luck out and have empty sites next to you, it’s fine. Staff friendly and helpful. Some sites are shady. Bathroom dated and heavily used, but cleaned daily. Laundry is fine, but some of the appliances were out of order. Depending on site, ones without an adjacent site back to back, would recommend.

Friendly hosts and close to town. Lots of shade and mosquitos too. Sites are a total crapshoot. The one we got had a very dirty old picnic table and was extremely tight. The site next to ours had no table. Others looked bigger and weren’t so cramped. Would not stay again.
My advice to the owners is to let people pick their site types when reserving. Also consider making a bunch of the sites by the trailer park pull throughs. If you can’t fit a car and trailer/coach in the site lengthwise then you can’t sell it as able to accommodate that length of trailer/coach. Way too many class A’s

We were just there and what can I say the camp ground is over priced, small spots tou feel like you are on top of each other. The best part is their trees are gushing sap so not only did I have to wash my truck but I had to wash & scrub our camper. I would not recommend this place very out dated!

This campground is not being maintained by its owners. It is part RV resort and the other part is permanent residence. Some of these units are not being maintained by their owners and look shabby.
The sites are small and uncomfortable. Picnic tables are gross and look like they have never been cleaned.

Bathrooms were not the cleanest. Only one toilet and one shower for the entire campground made for long waits in the bathroom.

We stopped in for propane and lunch! The meal was excellent, more that we expected from a roadside cafe! Great staff and excellent food!

We enjoyed a four night stay in mid-September - a quiet campground getting ready to close down for the season in a few more weeks. Pretty grass area for tent campers and some nice shady patio slots for RV'ers. It's a mixed use campground with several long-term residents in cottages and some in RVs, as well as the traveling RV'ers like ourselves passing through. The area for large dogs is kind of small, fringed by irrigation ditches. The area for smaller dogs is very nice. The staff were very friendly - bathrooms clean. My favorite part was hearing coyotes in the surrounding

This beautiful campground has a gorgeous view of lava mountains on one side, an Aspen/Cottonwood grove on the other, and is centrally located from many interesting day and overnight trips. Each site has either a chipped granite gravel or cement driveway, and most are flocked with tall trees. The MC is a true full-service campground with gasoline comparable in price, propane, RV/camping supplies, food and snacks, laundry room, restrooms, and showers. But, what really makes this beautiful campground the place to stay is the people that work at MC. Staying here is like coming to visit family.

Friendly hosts, convenient and full amenities, east location close to town/Hartman Rocks/Blue Mesa. Overall had a great stay and was very surprised at how quiet the RVers and campers were! Loved all the shady areas. The only downside was the highway noise, which does disappear at night... but bring good ear plugs

Initially made a reservation just because they had RV sites with personal hot tubs. Ended up getting a regular site instead. It's a well-kept and very clean RV park. We've been to many parks from west coast to east coast. They have a little store with a little of everything including RV, fishing, hiking supplies, and free coffee. The bathrooms are very clean and the laundromat was affordable and cozy. The overall price for everything was very reasonable. The staff was very nice and helpful. 2 thumbs up!

This review is from my Mom (she no savvy tech). A delightful and refreshingly surprising experience! I have not lived in town, and had never imagined being an RVer, but will certainly return to Mesa again next Spring to reunite with old and new friends and to enjoy the friendly and event filled experience this beautifully kept park has to offer me and my dog. The park hosts are very accommodating and friendly. The local wildlife is also very accepting of our presence! There is a small convenience store, gas pumps, and propane at the park, as well as plenty of parking for guests and visitors. Clubhouse
