Nestled under Live Oak trees, Maxie's Campground was founded in 1968 by Maxie and Veda Girouard. The campground was born from their love of the RV lifestyle. We have been in business for 53 years serving Broussard and Acadiana, also referred to as "Cajun Country". We are conveniently located on US 90 in Broussard, Louisiana, next door to Arceneaux Park and 5 minutes from St. Julien Park and Sports Complex.
Broussard is also known as the CAP-PELE, New Brunswick twin city. We have the best RV location in Acadiana. Close to shopping, dining, sports and recreation, and all the attractions Cajun Country has to offer. I absolutely love maxies camp ground. There are clean bathhouses and a laundry room on site to wash and dry your clothes the grounds are always kept clean and cut the manager Jason is really on top of taking excellent care if this place.

I posted a review yesterday but don’t know what happened to it. I can’t say enough good things about this park. The owner is great and shows pride of ownership. We have stayed in some pretty run down parks on our trip but this one is the exception. NO moldy abandoned Rv’s and the property and no junk stored around the Rv’s either this property is well kept. Only downside is the traffic noise. Keep up the good work Jason!

Tried staying there for a month, Jason told me to stay a week first so I didn't overpay him if I had to leave. Ended up stating a week like he said. He also helped us back up our camper and was very professional. Fantastic place to stay, felt very safe, was clean, great wifi. If I'm ever in the area for work will definitely choose maxie's.

I stayed at this park for one week. There was a discount when you stayed at least one week. The owner Jason was super nice & accommodating. Here’s the issue I had—it rained a lot, and the sites were not protected with minimally gravel so we were in a mud pit. To be an established park for so many years this is a problem. I hope it gets fixed.

Had a wonderful week here. Jason was great and the park is in a perfect place to enjoy the Acadiana region. The facilities are well maintained, clean, and the laundry is full of top of the line washers and dryers. The wifi is the best we've had in our 3 years of coast to coast trips to dozens and dozens of rv parks! That says something. Jason does his best to make everyone feel welcome.
The road noise never bothered us as it's only busy during rush hour. We loved it here so much we are planning on coming back and staying a month next year. Side note. Our cat loved it so much she wanted to walk
